Lauryn Hill Is Pregnant With Sixth Baby

Lauryn Hill is adding another baby to her brood. The former Fugees star announced over the weekend that she's expecting her sixth child.

Hill revealed the happy news while performing a concert at Detriot's Chene Park on Saturday.

"She told the crowd, 'I'm going to be taking time off to give birth'," Ashley Trybula of Detroit's Hot 102.7 told RadarOnline.com.

Hill has been hinting that she has a bun in the oven for several months.

"I keep having these children," Hill said two months ago while performing in Los Angeles. "I don't know if I'm the most fertile woman in America."

She seems pretty fertile to us, considering this will be her sixth child with boyfriend Rohan Marley.

Though she announced she's expecting, there's no word on whether she's having a boy or a girl or when she's expecting the new addition to her family.

@Fred...she is the first woman to win eight grammys in one night. Her album, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill was a chart topper for over a year from 1999 - 2001. She can feed her own kids. And for the people who say that she should adopt instead of giving birth to her own, wtf

I think the situation is personal. Why do other people need to know who has babies? Who cares? Was it a big to do over the first five?

Angelina only adopts when she hungers for attention, then she exploits the child. The only reason she does not adopt American children is because the bar is higher. One has to go through psychological testing, and we all know Angelina is a nut job. I don't care who you are or what you have making babies out of wedlock is a personal issue, that should not be fodder for gossip. Also, for the Jolie supporters, she may be adopting, but why is it when you and I adopt, there is no fanfare? Shouldn't adoption be sacred and private? Ms. Jolie uses, and I mean that..she sues her children exploits them everytime she pops one or two out and she also exploits her adopted children. True loving mothers would not do that. Oh, and I forgot she is also trying to make news with her daughter Shiloh, by implying she has bi-sexual tendencies. How disgusting.

In this world of over-population to have more than 2 or 3 children is shameful. If you really want a litter, adopt some poor unfortunate children. Stop being so full of yourself to keep reproducing. These 6 will have 6 and on and on, ad nauseum. You show how ego-centric you really are.

Since when overpopulation became a concern? Was it after you were born? This country is overpopulated because dayum near half of the population today are late 20 century and 21 foreginers. Lauyrn can have as many babies as she wants to because unlike some of you here blogging, she can afford six children

...she's a HAS BEEN from the late '90's, early 00's. Hasn't had a hit song, nor album since. Last I heard, she was crazy and twitching in some corner and was BOO'ed by her so called fans as she was nearly 4 hrs. late to some NYC concert. (Do the research.) That's one messed up "Baby Mama!"

Guess she's never heard of the word, NO.

thanks for pointing out that Rohan Marley has other children besides with Lauryn Hill. I see that he may have two children by another woman (presumably the woman he is still married to).

japhya -- where does it say we cannot afford a lot of children. My husband .... yes HUSBAND.. as in "WE ARE MARRIED" .. we are planning a huge family because we can afford it..... and none of our kids will be BASTARD kids like this woman now has.... My parents (MARRIED) had 8 of us and all of us attended private schools ... and all of us are successful in life.
