Sean Penn and Scarlett Johansson, who just broke off their romantic relationship, have shown a determination to remain friends, even hanging out together over the weekend backstage at Spike TV's Guys Choice Awards. Now, if that surprises you, friends and insiders point out this is nothing new for the beautiful vixen."If you remember after Scarlett confirmed her split from husband Ryan the two continued to see each other and have dinner together," a friend of the actress tells me. "She is incredible. Just because you are no longer with someone doesn't mean you stop caring about them and never want to see them again. She still cares a great deal about Sean and couldn't imagine seeing him at an event or award show and not saying hello. Only children act like that!"
Scarlett flew in from New Mexico where she has been filming 'The Avengers,' recreating the role of Black Widow from 'Iron Man 2,' while Sean was recently in France debuting his films 'The Tree of Life' and 'This Must Be the Place' at the Canne Film Festival.

yea, except theres a rteally good chance it was just a rebound, since they both recently split from the partners....and being able to remain friends is called maturity...youll probably learn a little bit about that once you graduate elementary school
