'Lost' Creator Slams January Jones' Performance in 'X-Men: First Class'

'Lost' co-creator Damon Lindelof is not a fan of
January Jones performance in 'X-Men: First Class' and he has no problems expressing it.
After watching last week's No.1 movie at the Box Office, Lindelof took to his Twitter page to
praise the movie and some of the performances, "Dug FIRST CLASS though, especially Fassbender, McAvoy and the best deployment of the PG-13 single-use eff-bomb I have ever seen."
However, he was less than kind to Jones' acting skills.
In the movie, Jones plays the character of 'Emma Frost', and Lindelof talked about Frost's powers in the movie, or lack thereof.
Lindelof tweeted this
message, "Emma Frost's THREE mutant powers: Telepathy, Transformation to Solid Diamond and last but not least, Sucking at Acting."
Clearly, we will not be seeing Jones acting in any of Lindelof's shows anytime soon.
Recently, 'The Hangover Part II' star
Zach Galifianakis also dissed the
pregnant 'Mad Men' actress.
In an interview, Galifianakis was made aware that Jones named him as the funniest man she'd ever met, he was quick to call out the actress on what sounded, to us, like a compliment.
But Galifianakis remembered a more than "rude" mama-to-be when he was
summoned to her table at an event.
"I sit at her table and talk for 10 minutes, and she goes, 'I think it's time for you to leave now,'" Galifianakis recalls. "So I say, 'January, you are an actress in a show and everybody's going to forget about you in a few years, so f**king be nice,' and I got up and left."

I bet Josh Groban is happy that he got away from this twit.

Sounds like he's holding a gruge because he got dissed.

This is oddly gratifying. I am not at all a fan of January Jones: Her acting on Mad Men has always seemed flat, even when she's supposedly angry or devastated; and her off-screen and interview words and demeanor seem arrogant, rude, and aloof. She needed to be shaken, either literally or figuratively, so it is nice to hear some folks calling her to task.

thank god someone else is noticing this...I thought maybe it was just me...I thought she was horrible in the Liem movie just terrible and then I find out she is in xmen..that may just keep me from going to see it. Also she sleeps with married men doesnt she?? bad!!!!

She's beautiful and then that's where it ends with her. No personality. No acting range. It's sad really. :(

Maybe if her parents named her August instead of January she would be a warmer person?

And don't forget the legendary mess she made of her appearance on SNL--doesn't seem very intelligent, but smart enough to make the most of publicity opportunities--mystery pregnancy resulting from questionable behavior.

maybe he tried to get her in bed and didn`t suceed.

I thought Damon was gay, but I could be wrong.
What was Jason Sudekis thinking?

Her acting seems 'flat' to me, too...she had the same scene-stealing opportunity in "Love, Actually" as did Brad Pitt in "Thelma & Louise" - but Brad shot his role out of the park!

I'm glad somebody feels the way I do about her acting. She is the one low point on Mad Men- she seems to be phoning in every performance and she talks like a bored 21st century teenager in the early 60's. Very jarring.

Ms Jones was woefully misscast for mad men she was born in 1978 and the show is set in 61-63 Tessa Dahl or Melissa Newman would've been better suited for that as they were born in 1957 & 1961 respectively and can actually act though granted their parents are screen legends and a litteary legend. the creator of lost had every right to say what he said of January at least he did't say that of an actual actress like Anjelica Houston or Meryl Streep or Ms Newman's Mom Joanne Woodward who had been working for 60 years
