Emma Watson: 'Why Doesn't Anyone Ever Pursue Me?'

Although this pixie-haired beauty seems like the last person on earth to be short on suitors, according to
Emma Watson, she hasn't had too much luck in the dating department. Although her friends think her lack of first date fodder is due to her intimidating fame, Watson isn't so sure.
"I say to my friends, 'Why hasn't X called me? Why doesn't anyone ever pursue me?' They're like, 'Probably because they're intimidated.' It must be the fame wall," She told the
UK Sunday Times (via
Us Weekly). "It must be the circus that goes around me. Me, as a person, I find it hard to believe I would be intimidating."
With looks the rival a cross between Mia Farrow and Twiggy, we don't find it too preposterous that approaching Watson might be a bit of a challenge for most young men. But one place where her worldwide fame was never an issue was at Brown University, where she began her short-lived college career before
announcing, in April, that she would not be returning.
"I've never been asked for an autograph on campus," she said of her fellow Ivy League classmates. "I threw a party for nearly 100 students and not a single person put a photo on Facebook."
But her classmates' loyalty wasn't enough to keep her at the prestigious university.
"I was in denial," she explained of her reason to leave school. "I wanted to pretend I wasn't as famous as I was. I was trying to seek out normality, but I kind of have to accept who I am."
Once Watson does accept who she is, we have a feeling that her probability of finding romance -- fellow celebrity or muggle -- will more than multiply.

It's really a simple answer I think-- guys don't like short haircuts on girls. She is very pretty but if I were her, I'd say grow out that haircut!

That is the most ridiculous statement...........if short hair looks good on a person than wear it! Emma happens to look more put together with short hair than she ever did with long. She is beautiful though and I think most guys think that beautiful women have a gaggle of guys waiting in line, which is not necessarily true.
speaking as someone who is also sporting an extremely hot pixie, its not at all a problem... not in the leastest. I think its cuz im hot but Im also not famous so .. With Emma it is about intimidation its just that simple. I think its so hilarious when someone says "someones pretty, but"..no takebacksies stop hating!! If my guy obsessed about my hairstyles I would have to wonder if he is more fabulous than I.
I saw a photo of her short hair (getting out of a car). It looked yummy to me.
A beauty like Emma Watson would still be beautiful if she shaved her head. So no, I don't think short hair is the problem. Guys would be intimidated by that gorgeous face even if no one had ever heard of her. No other explanation is required.
NO WAY SHE IS GREAT NOW...
Exactly. Its not just any ole bad short haircut. Its like she spent a week searching fashion magazines for the most absolutely unattractive butch "do" that she could find in order to ruin her appeal to men. Not only did she ruin her looks she ruined her appeal to virtually all (non-desperate) men. That haircut is hideous. Women only need apply.
My goodness, she's pretty.
Maybe because she's not a skank like soooooo many others.

Hold on Emma, lets not get full of our selves like so many women. The guy may well be intimadated but just as likely he figures you have some one and is simply not interested in persueing some one not likely to be interested. You can call that intimadated but most guys worth having are not into knocking their head into a wall for no reason. Who likes rejection anyhow? You? You could let him know you are interested. Maybe if you made eye contact with a little smile he would know your open to him approaching you. If your just going to stand there and act unapproachable then your going to get just that.

The reason that i do not chase her is because of my age and my wife. Two HUGE drawbacks!

I'm a guy, and i find the new hair cut really good and i would die to date her.

I find this girl extremely beautiful with a fascinating aura of depth and substance. Maybe her air of maturity is intimidating and beyond the capacity of those her own age. Oh, being a beautiful princess is such a lonely life.

She looks alot better in long hair

Make no mistake about it. If I were the "right" age I would pursue Emma Watson in a minute. Short hair or long hair doesn't matter a whit. She is probably the most beautiful woman I have ever seen and she had a good head on her shoulders. Truly a wonderous permanent adventure for any man.

I have had that problem for 20 years. I usually have to have a girlfriend interfere. It's all about personality. All my fat girlfriends got more tail than I, why? Personality. Boyfriends would say, "I thought you must have a bf or I thought I would be rejected." Being outgoing is your best sex tip ladies. I am very reserved. It's who I am, I can't change, but it hinders me in every area. Guys like the bubbly ones, so...

You don't really need to be "bubbly" just show that your open to be approached by him. Not that the door is closed and barred and your moving the dresser in front of it to keep him out.
If she wanted to date, Brown was pretty much the last place to find a straight guy.
