Sandra Bernhard: Lindsay 'Probably Has Issues With Her Mom Like All Gay Girls'

Is Lindsay Lohan gay? It's an age-old question and certainly there's no cut and dry answer when it comes to the actress, so I recently asked out comedian Sandra Bernhard, who thinks "things are going in that direction" and that Lindsay "probably has issues with her mother like all gay girls."

Lindsay has dated boys (Calum Best, Riley Giles) and girls (Samantha Ronson) in recent years. And as someone who has always been very comfortable with her own sexuality, Sandra tells me that it's fine to not be one or the other.

"I've always straddled a fence," Sandra told me during a visit to my HDNet show. "It's just time for people to be comfortable and not have to identify with anything. I've dated girls and guys. Penises frighten me. I don't have issues with anybody."

And the best advice she has for anyone struggling with themselves is simple. "I know what I stand for. I don't feel the need to change myself. I wish I looked like Angelina, but I look a certain way and I've inspired people."

But Lindsay shouldn't try to find any comfort in Kabbalah, Sandra warns.

"Kabbalah angered me," Sandra tells me. "These VIP shabbat services ... you get regulated to the third row of torah reading. I still practice some of the techniques. I mix it up."

Maybe Sandra, but I bet most of her issues are due to bad parenting and too much booze and drugs. She's a spoiled little skank who is a huge waste. She will never work in Hollywood again because she is kryptonite and it's mostly her own fault.
