'Captain America' Star Chris Evans Admits He Is Losing Hair

Actor Chris Evans will officially hit the big time when his movie 'Captain America: The First Avenger' hits theaters next month. But Evans has bigger things worrying him at the moment -- his hair.

Evans was talking to E! Online at the MTV Movie Awards when he revealed that he was losing his hair. "I have no problem saying this, but I'm losing my hair."

The problem for Evans is that he has signed up for three 'Captain America' movies and an additional three 'Avengers' movies, in which he will play the same role.

Evans says, "The fear is this [role] can span 10 years so I can be doing this character until I'm 40. I'm supposed to be like this superior human. He can't be balding...How horrible would it be if this superior man has male pattern baldness?"

One thing the 29-year-old actor is not worried about is maintaining his well built body. "That I can control," he says.

Evans reveals that he hits the gym almost every day to maintain his physique. "It's a lot more than I'd like it to be, but you know, if I miss three or four days, I feel like s**t."

He also reveals that the one thing that is not a part of his workout is running. "Last year, I got into running and I was like, 'I'm going to start running and then I would run on the treadmill and feel great.' But I'll get too thin. I lose weight so quickly."

If he's that worried about his hair, why doesn't he talk to whomever Matthew McConaughey used ? He was losing his hair at a young age, and got it corrected. I'm trying to picture Chris Evans without hair, and I just can't picture it. I think he has beautiful hair & would hate to see him lose it. But if he doesn't care, then I'm all for it. I'll still be a big fan of his no matter what.

What is the big deal. People, male and female lose their hair every day. Why is this even newsworthy. He can wear a wig if he feels that bad about it. I am sure they make wigs for men.

As hot a he is I don't think it will matter. Look at The Transporter actor. He's hot and it doesn't matter. But people shouldn't make light of it because it can be shattering at first to a person. Both men and women.

Sean Connery was bald when he starred in "Hunt For Red October." They gave him a hairpiece, and he looked damn good in it. Big deal if he's going bald. That is what the makeup department is for.

You realize that he didn't actually have a problem with losing his hair. He simply expressed the fact since he's signed up for six movies and Cap, him going bald may pose a slight problem. Sure, a wig and makeup can fix the balding but still, that doesn't mean he has a fragile ego, nor is he being shallow. He made a simple statement, that's all.

How funny. One, this guy is definitely not on any hunk list. He doesn't cut it at all for that title. Second, who the heck cares anything about him? Never heard of him and hope not to again. He does nothing for me. Silly article.
