He's mighty intense, he's kind of a badass, and we honestly don't know why it took so long for him to start playing the bad guy.

And wouldn't you know it, word on the street is that DiCaprio is currently in talks to star as a ruthless slave owner named Calvin Candie in Quentin Tarantino's next project, 'Django Unchained,' Deadline is reporting. After announcing last year that his next project would be "Southern," Tarantino's story supposedly revolves around a freed slave who returns to Candie's Mississippi club of prostitution and death matches to seek out vengeance and rescue his wife. Well, if you're gonna go evil, ruthless slave owners are probably a swell place to start.
