Friend: Sarah Palin Is Ignoring Elisabeth Hasselbeck
Elisabeth Hasselbeck, who once dutifully campaigned alongside
Sarah Palin during her run for higher office in 2008, is no longer feeling the love for the likely presidential candidate, in fact, a close friend of the 'View' star reveals the two haven't spoken in months.
"I think Elisabeth is a good friend. She remembers birthdays and even with a busy schedule always takes time to stay in touch with her girlfriends," a pal tells me. "But Sarah has let her down. Elisabeth has reached out to her several times but she never responds."
It's gotten so grating on Elisabeth that, according to my source, "she has stopped trying all together and doesn't care who knows."
Elisabeth recently accused Sarah of "manipulating" the media to draw attention away from the more-serious Mitt Romney, and mocked her ex-friend's bus tour as another attempt to dominate the headlines. Sarah's decision to roll through New Hampshire on the day Mitt announced his run for the White House clearly annoyed the daytime star.
"If I had termites in my house, I'd get someone in there who could deal with it," Hasselbeck said on 'The View.' "Mitt Romney, right now, his specialty is the economy. I'd have him in there. Here's why we're not hearing it: because Sarah Palin's on a bus, and right now she's manipulating, in terms of media attention."
Before that, Elisabeth also condemned Sarah's "crosshairs" imagery on a fundraising website, calling them "despicable" after Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, one of her 'targets' in the 2010 campaign, was shot during a voter meet-and-greet.
"Elisabeth feels used by Sarah," an insider tells me. "When she needed her, she was all over Elisabeth and now she treats her like a stranger. It's sad."

This is shocking why?
Doesn't ANYBODY in the world see how Palin's use of her OWN family to get attention, sympathy or to draw in controversy get it?
A. She decided to go for the VP spot while her daughter was unweddingly pregnant and needed her most and NOT the media attention that it would surely caused. She sacrifriced her daughter for that one.
B. She threw her partner who was running for President and hand picked her under the bus. Rogue indeed. She wouldn't follow his staffs suggestions and fought with them constantly. I still say McCain (while he would never admit it) loss in part directly because of her. Anyone in their right mind could see her polarizing way about her is much keener than her popularity.
C. It's all about Palin 24/7/365. She would sacrifice anyone who got in her way. Anyone.
D. If you think Trump is a great wheeler and dealer for his own image...she Trumps him. Pun intended.
E. Maybe she's not so academicly bright but she is very cunning, very screwd and an extremely selfish person.
F. I'm not sure when she lost her heart in life, but nobody can convince me that there is something unbalanced emotionally with this woman.
A pair of Twinkies - full of fluff with no substance
i thought you meant mormom
Yes I love it when people call Palin stupid. What state did you run? And when did you run for vice president? The press calls her stupid yet their the ones running after her. So she made a few blunders talking, so what? Obama has made just as many and he's smart? Double standards.
When you liberals get desperate you resort to name calling. Palin will probably make a few million dollars this year Randy. How much are they paying you at the lawn service?
To Mduffy3645 - You are right on the one point...that people should not be name calling. Nothing can be gained by that. But that would be the ONLY point I agree with you on. And I respectfully dissagree with you on your other views.
First, Sarah is not intelligent. She's average. Do not confuse manipulative behaviour with high IQ. Her popularity is more of an indictment on the lack of intellectual and in-depth conversation done within the general population. People buy slogans, and get emotionally married to views without objectively analysing the facts.
Second....It's quite clear that Sarah lacks foreign policy gravitas. If she was serious about running for president, she should have been dedicated to educating herself to that subject, these past two years, instead of writing a book about herself, starring in a reality series about herslef, appearing in surface photo op trips, and spending time on a bus tour promoting her brand. Her hubris is, is that she beleives she's above having to learn anything in-depth that would take a great deal of brain-power and dedication.
Please don't use the argument of she's popular so therefore she must be smart (and right). Because history is littered with leaders and despots who were popular and were also self-serving, and intellectually ignorant. Your argument does not hold up to scrutiny.
Wah, wah, wah Elizabeth... what a freakin baby! First of all, no one cares about The View and frankly it should have gone off the air a LONG time ago. Who in the world would look forward to listen to middle-age women talking about current events when there OPINION is not important. And the audience applauding at their ignorant ramblings makes them just as worse.

Before you even THINK about posting again, how about you double-check your spelling, grammar, and punctuation? I almost couldn't read your entire idiotic post. Are you in second grade?
"...just as worse..." ? Who's ignorant, Laura??
I think the View is one of the best programs on TV, day or. night Barbra, Joy and Whoppe are intelligent women who have varying views which they can discuss intelligently, not screaming, yelling, etc. Elizabeth is there to represent a conservative point of view, and although I don't like her, she represents that group very well. She is not especially smart but she is attractive and certainly is not as annoying as say Ann Coulter. Sherry represens, EverymYanand Everywoman, she had a certain sweetness when she first stated which she has lost, now she just appears dumb and talks way too much. You seem to dismiss these women because they are "middle aged". That is also the age of a lage goup of registeed voters.
Yo sarah, why the ? after that first sentence. It's not a question. If you're going to critisize people, you should clean up your own act.
Yuo anul speleeng, tiepoe and gramur cops reely suk beeg tyme.
It's not about the VIEW! DUH!
Opinions of middle-aged women are not important??? How old ARE you, Laura? What is your claim to fame?
Try that again with grammer and spell check.
I agree with you, could not have said it better myself.
"just as worse"....? I dont think you even made it to the second grade............GET A GRIP
well you know what they say about opinions they are like bumholes EVERYONE has one
But I bet you fall all over everything glum beck spews....
Laura, when negative trolls have nothing to say, they engage in ad hominem attacks (for those really in 2nd grade, 'ad hominem' means against the person).
Please learn to spell and construct a sentence at a fifth-grade level.
