According to Jennifer Garner, her fellow actor and pal, Alec Baldwin, definitely has what it takes to throw himself in the candidate pool for New York's 2013 mayoral election. The actress dropped by 'Fox & Friends' in NYC earlier today to voice both her and her husband, Ben Affleck's support of Baldwin the politician."I think he should go for it. He can run and let people vote. I stand up for Alec Baldwin," Garner said.
Although Baldwin does not have any real government experience, Garner thinks that he would more than fit the bill.

NY has enough problems without adding an unqualified candidate especially for a city as large as New York. Celebs should stay in their make believe world and leave the heavy lifting to those who experience it every day.

You are so right! This is also the man who was "violent"towards his ex wife Kim. If memory serves me correctly he also had temper tantrums while doing off Broadway a few years back. Punching walls because the theatre was too hot. Not sure how true it is but nevertheless still out there to think about.

This Baldwin always had mental issues. Prior to Bush's re-election he stated that he'd move to France if George was re-elected. I wish he'd kept his word. His personal life is a train wreck. If he can't get that under control I doubt he has what it takes to run our largest city.

Now I wish I lived in NYC - so I could vote against Baldwin 20 times. The man is an egotistical idiot, hothead, and liar. He promised a few times to move from the USA - but has reneged each time. He is an actor (actually a "B" actor - unless they have C actors in which case he is a "C" actor) and this is his way to keep his name in fron of the public or he'd have gone down in ignominy years ago. He "throws" his name out there so people know he is alive. As they say - "He is a legend in his own mind!" Go away Alec - gracefully please!

OMG, another proof positive that Hollywood is home to a major portion of this country's idiots! In the first place, Fat Alec is so unqualified, not to mention as crazy as a loon. I agree with a previous poster that wishes AB would have moved his fat a** out of the country when President Bush was elected. And why doesn't Jennifer Garner just keep her bazoo shut? I think Alec Baldwin would be simply great as Mayor of NY. He's a democrat, he's for the things that really matter to me. He's a good Dad. He fought tooth and nail to see his daughter all the time. Not many dads do that. He made a mistake calling his daughter names but I'm sure that was from frustration. He's got my vote.
