According to Jennifer Garner, her fellow actor and pal, Alec Baldwin, definitely has what it takes to throw himself in the candidate pool for New York's 2013 mayoral election. The actress dropped by 'Fox & Friends' in NYC earlier today to voice both her and her husband, Ben Affleck's support of Baldwin the politician."I think he should go for it. He can run and let people vote. I stand up for Alec Baldwin," Garner said.
Although Baldwin does not have any real government experience, Garner thinks that he would more than fit the bill.

Rose, turn off your t.v. and seek professional help.
A far left moonbat actor endorses a far left moonbat actor. That should cinch it.

She should save her words for the few parts she's still offered. What does she need -a guest role on 30 Rock? Let her endorse some mayoral candidate in Bahhhhhston - let her and her husband pollute that town.

He would make a good democratic politician . he knows how to act , and can very easily say one thing and do another .

It sure didn't take long for losers to start endorsing a loser!

Do you think he'll abuse New York like he abused his wife and children?

What better person to run New York than a pompous, arrogant Hollywood type, on record verbally abusing his wife and daughter and living in the world of make believe.

Now why would she endorse Balwin when neither she nor her husband are natives of NY. They don't, nor have they ever lived in this city. I don't know if Mr. Balwin will make a good mayor or not (can't be any worse than the clowns we have now jockeying for the position), but we don't need outsiders telling us who to elect to run our city.

She's not even FROM New York, so the headline doesn't make sense. Who cares what she says about New York politics!? She's from West Virginia and lives in LA. She's talking head for Save the Children, a good organization, but that makes her an expert on what exactly...?

Some celebs main job is thrusting their kids in front of the paparazzi so they stay in the magazines. If they didn't want the paps to shoot their kids, they would do what Madonna does and wear the same outfit over and over so the story has no news appeal. But no, some pretend to be down to earth moms but are secretly styled by top stylists, together with their kids. Oh well, to each her own.

Only ones who wouldn't want Baldwin to run are Republicans. They'd rather put some boring hypocrite in office.

Wait, has Alec ever played a Mayor; no, then how can he follow the script???

I hate it when Web sites publish things out of context. If you actually saw the clip, Garner was put on the spot by the hosts several times with those ridiculous questions - the hosts actually brought her husband into it - and she made those remarks in jest. Get a grip, people.
