Newlywed Kate Middleton has found herself in the middle of a royal mess. Her cell phone and bank accounts were hacked on behalf of Rupert Murdoch's News International, according to reports.

According to The Guardian, private investigator Jonathan Rees is accused of hacking into the phones and records of a growing number of celebrities, politicians, and high-ranking royals in addition to Duchess Cathrine, including former British Prime Minister Tony Blair.

Rees reportedly broke into Middleton's phone back in 2008 when she was still dating Prince William, and it is believed he also accessed her back accounts.

The British newspaper also identifies Eric Clapton, Mick Jagger and George Michael as just some of the victims of Rees' hacking.
