LeAnn Rimes and Her Trainer Defend Thin Frame

LeAnn Rimes is continuing to defend her thin frame and her personal trainer has joined in saying that the singer is not too thin, claiming she is toned and healthy.

According to PEOPLE, Rimes has said that the "hoopla about my body" has been hurtful.

Recently, the criticism intensified after she tweeted a photo of herself in a skimpy blue bikini while she was on her honeymoon with husband Eddie Cibrian.

Rimes is quoted saying, "For someone like me who is healthy, who works hard for my body, it's very frustrating. I work out and take care of myself, and not in an over-obsessive way."

The 28-year-old country singer also talks about the various names people have called her after seeing the pictures. "People are calling me bulimic or anorexic and these are real issues and diseases – that I don't have."

Rimes' trainer, named Michael Jackson, also adds, "My main concern with her is that she's toned and healthy. And she is."

Then stop posting pictures of yourself on the internet! Especially ones where you are wearing nothing but a bikini. I used to think Leann Rimes was great, now she's just this adulterating, media skank, joining the ranks of The Kardashians, Lindsey Lohan and Paris Hilton. Seriously, what is wrong with people? Hollywood is a joke, our politicians are TOTAL jokes and this is what young people look to as an example of success. Sad.

As someone who is thin and has been all my life, I see LeAnn as someone who looks healthy AND thin. As a person in my 50's, I have to work harder to maintain my weight but it is something I can and choose to do. I think we Americans have gotten so used to seeing so many with too much meat on their bones, that when you see someone who is a healthy weight, you think they have an eating disorder. She shouldn't let it bother her and as other's said, if she doesn't like the criticism, quit putting the photos on the net. But, she has muscle definition and she looks good. So get off the couch and go to work people instead of criticizing someone you wish you could look like!

Hey if she wants to be super skinnny so be it. It is her choice to make a mistake. That said, to me her trainer should be fired he is an idiot. She is too thin and body has no definition from what I can see. She was so much cuter in her teen years. She had some meat on her bones. Now with this national obsession against fat she has gotten rid of it on her body. My suggestion, get a new trainer who really knows what he is doing.
