LeAnn Rimes and Her Trainer Defend Thin Frame

LeAnn Rimes is continuing to defend her thin frame and her personal trainer has joined in saying that the singer is not too thin, claiming she is toned and healthy.

According to PEOPLE, Rimes has said that the "hoopla about my body" has been hurtful.

Recently, the criticism intensified after she tweeted a photo of herself in a skimpy blue bikini while she was on her honeymoon with husband Eddie Cibrian.

Rimes is quoted saying, "For someone like me who is healthy, who works hard for my body, it's very frustrating. I work out and take care of myself, and not in an over-obsessive way."

The 28-year-old country singer also talks about the various names people have called her after seeing the pictures. "People are calling me bulimic or anorexic and these are real issues and diseases – that I don't have."

Rimes' trainer, named Michael Jackson, also adds, "My main concern with her is that she's toned and healthy. And she is."

She's got a great publicity agent - one that understands that anything that can be done to direct attention away from that horrifying face and those dreadful pasted on eyebrows is good publicity. So she got implants and is "too" thin, attention away from that face. Oh that face.

As a lonnnnnnnnngtime fan of LeAnn's, I just don't care anymore. She sued her own fatherwho drove her all over hell and half of Georgia until she made it when she sued him for the contract the man signed, believing it to be in her best minor interests. She meets this Cibrian guy, has an affair thus breaking up bother her own and his marriage? Now she's all skinny and that's supposed to make me what?.... feel sorry for her? Or think better of her? Career is done as far as this fan is concerned. She had it all.... except morals.

Maybe the real problem is that the majority of us are overweight and anyone who isn't looks anorexic.

I looked that skinny when I was her age. I was accused of being anorexic, people would watch to make sure I ate. I even had a woman who would follow me to the bathroom after lunch convinced I was going to make myself vomit. I could pack away the calories and never even considered upchucking.

Those were the days. Now, I'm fighting the bulge like everyone else. Give her time, one day she too will wake up fat. Until then leave her alone.

Our society is already more fascinated with female celebrities' numbers than it should be. I'm not sure how this became such a topic of discussion, but it would be nice if these women told the press to shove their weight concerns where the sun doesn't shine.

By the way, I'm a 42-year-old male at 197 pounds and dropping. Anyone got a problem with THAT?

believe it or not, some people are actually skinny naturally! i also am sick of people telling me i must not eat or rude remarks because i am thin. i would never make rude remarks to someone because they are fat. i've been thin all my life, so are my children. i figure it's just good genes. also, we don't devour every morsel of food in sight. lighten up, if her family or her doctor isn't worried, no need for everyone on the internet to diagnose her.

Why is it everytime someone is not a fatty they must be sick or have an eating disorder? I think people who work at staying thin are well motivated people and not always doing something they shouldn't to stay that way. Why don't we jump on the band wagon the same way when we see someone fatter than hell with a burger from Mcdonalds in there fat mouth, oh wait they are drinking a diet coke so it must be a thyroid problem. Just leave people alone to be way overweight or thin, it's there choice. I think leeAnn looks great and the pic could have had a better angle.

LeAnn does not appear to be very tightly wrapped. Eddie would be wise to watch his back should he ever decide to leave her for another woman. She will most likely pull a fatal attraction on him....

Being obsessed with denial is the obvious problem , and it sure sounds and looks like she is denying a lot of problems . I really dont care that much , her behavior is not worth my worry . Just too bad her trainer is defending her publicly , he should just be quiet .

I think our society has gotten so used to seeing people unhealthy (overwieght, obese, etc.) that when they see a picture or a person of healthy weight they want to blame it on an eating disorder. When I was younger I was accused of have an eating disorder. This was not the case. I was very active in sports and activities. All I can say is go look in a mirror before pointing your finger at someone.

I saw her in the airport two weeks ago in Mexico. She looked really skinny. My friend even remarked about it. I don't know if she is starving herself, but her thinness was highly noticeable.
