Fresh Allegations That Tracy Morgan Is Homophobic
UPDATE 12:20PM | Tracy has apologized, saying his routine "clearly went too far and was not funny in any context." Full Story
He's responsible for many a joke on '30 Rock,' but if true, Tracy Morgan's latest standup set is no laughing matter. A man named Kevin Rogers attended Morgan's standup show last Friday and
reported on his Facebook page that Morgan let loose a viciously homophobic rant that, as far as he could tell, was a dead serious attack on gay men and women. Rogers, who is gay, wrote:
I figured at some point the gay jokes would fly and I'm well prepared for a good ribbing of straight gay humor. I have very thick skin when it comes to humor; I can dish and I can take. What I can't take is when Mr. Morgan took it upon himself to mention about how he feels all this gay s*it was crazy and that women are a gift from God and that "Born this Way" is bulls*it, gay is a choice, and the reason he knows this is exactly because "God don't make no mistakes" (referring to God not making someone gay cause that would be a mistake).
Perhaps most strikingly, Rogers alleges that Morgan said:
He said if his son that was gay he better come home and talk to him like a man and not [he mimicked a gay, high pitched voice] or he would pull out a knife and stab that little N (one word I refuse to use) to death.
Rogers continued to describe the rant, which we've excerpted:
He took time to visit the bulls*it of this bullying stuff and informed us that the gays needed to quit being p*ssies and not be whining about something as insignificant as bullying. He mentioned that gay was something kids learn from the media and programming, and that bullied kids should just bust some ass and beat those other little f*ckers that bully them, not whine about it.
As it stands, Morgan's reps refused to comment to
gay issues site Unicornbooty.com, writing, "There is no comment, thank you for your inquiry."
The Ryman Auditorium responded in a statement, saying it "regrets that people were offended" by the performance but adds the disclaimer that it "does not control the content presented by people appearing on its stage, nor does it endorse any of the views of, or statements made by, such persons."

Isn't it time we retired the made-up word "homophobe"? Taken literally, "homophobia" would mean "fear of same[ness]." Of course that's not what it means, but the notion that those who have a beef with gays are motivated by fear is more insulting, and less accurate, than the worst insults directed at gays. It's just stupid, and demeaning to both sides.

Tina Fey, who basically OWNS Tracy is pro-Gay... he'll be in the same unemployment line as Michael Richards.

What can you expect from someone "like" him???

Why is it that every time someone makes a remark about gay that is not politically correct, they are labeled a homophobe? A phobia is a fear. He does not fear a gay but he is against them, like many other open minded people are. In lib circles, gays are put on some higher level for some distorted reason. They should just stay in the closet. Just my two cents...

Why do you want to let the world know that you're as dumb as dirt? "open minded" means "open minded," or is that too hard for you to understand?
God doesn't make mistakes. He made my loving, wonderful son who happens to be gay. He also made my other two beautiful boys too, and they're straight.

I agree that your wonderful son is not a mistake. I just don't agree with people calling homosexuality normal. If my son or daughter told me they were gay I would not love them any less but I would never accept that lifestyle. Love and acceptance are two different things.
God didn't make your son gay. "5 And God seeing that the wickedness of men was great on the earth, and that all the thought of their heart was bent upon evil at all times, " 6 It repented him that he had made man on the earth. And being touched inwardly with sorrow of heart, 7 He said: I will destroy man, whom I have created, from the face of the earth, ..."
Genesis 6:5-7. Not to hit you with a load of bricks concerning God and we pray your son recovers but from African-American suffrage to God all kind of authentic and moral icons have been used to defend gays and it is time to stop the lying.
Same old BS, different black person...,Morgan is spouting sh-- about a certain group. Really out of line and totally uncalled for..but "Oh no" can't get down on him to hard about it or guess where that will get you.....Right back to the old "racial thing"....Where blacks are concerned it is never about a person, they always start hollering race...For example: Kanye West/Taylor Swift, if the behavior had been reversed there, her career would have been over and in a heartbeat..nobody would have touched her with a 10ft pole....and much to her credit, I never heard her whining it was because she was white....

When you hear someone going on a vicious and unnecessary rant about gays you can probably bet the rent that he is gay and has ambivalent feelings about it. We always despise in others the qualities we dislike in ourselves.

Darin unless you have practice homosexuality in the past and now you are not engaging in such practices, then what is you logical bases for one being a homosexual is a choice. Are you or have you ever been attracted to someone who is of the same sex as yourself? I do not and have not, so as far as I am concerned your sexual orientation is not something that you can choose. Like you cannot choose your birth genitalia.

It is true Tracy, it is a choice, respect their choice (like choosing to smoke..., choosing easy wrong from a friend, easy to tell a friend, give this head but 3 or 5 dates for a kiss except 13/14 streets right to the crack V in 5 min) but do not let them enroll your boy to this survival dark show for the rest of his life

You know, it wasn't too long ago that people used to do and say terrible things to black people just because of color. Now you're okay with people doing and saying terrible things to gay people just because of who they love. You and him and pathetic.
BTW, if you love him so much you could at least spell his name correctly.

Sylva is yet another delusional idiot that apparently thinks all gay men lust after him and want to be near him. Right.
Also, probably a total hypocrite who loves to watch two women together.

The word suffix -phobe connotates fear or fear of, and while I know homosexuality is a deadly sin according to the Word of God, I am NOT afraid of homosexual individuals. I agree with sylvabugg2 and simply prefer to not subject myself or my children to a minoroty deviant population. God loves the person, not the sin, although repentance is the true test. A turning away from the sin.....
