Prince Harry: Not Getting Married 'for a Long Time'

Now that the wedding mania surrounding Prince William and Kate Middleton has calmed down a bit, attention has turned to Prince Harry and when he'll take the leap into marriage. But those hoping for another royal wedding in the near future shouldn't hold their breath.

According to Us Weekly, Harry was touring London's Royal Hospital Chelsea's infirmary on Thursday when an 85-year-old war vet asked the Prince what many people have been wondering.

"When are you getting married?" William Titchsmarsh asked Prince William's younger brother.

The Prince, in good humor, replied "Not for a long time," before adding, "Who put you up to ask me that?"

"They'll shoot me in the morning!" Titchsmarsh joked.

After greeting the veterans, Harry watched the annual Chelsea Pensioner's parade, where 300 elderly vets marched and saluted.

"The Army, for me and thousands like me, is a family," the Prince told the crowd after the parade. "In that respect, for veterans coming here, it must be like coming home. That is why this place matters, and always will."

Harry, who has been dating on-again, off-again girlfriend Chelsea Davy for four years, has tried to avoid any relationship speculation and instead is focusing on his military career. The Prince, who is training to be an Apache helicopter pilot, was promoted to Captain in April.

Who cares anyway. He probably would cheat on her like his dad did to Diana. His dad had a beautiful wife and he cheated on her with that ugly dog Camillia. They all forgave her and kiss up to her. I'm sure if Diana was alive that would be a slap in the face to her !!

Wowzers............you my friend have a bad attitude towards life in general. Why condemn and judge someone in the first place. People who do that sort of behavior must feel no self worth in them selves and want others to fall. I say have a positive attitude about life and things will all fit togeather eventually. Have a negative prospective towards anything and things will defiantly fall apart. ;)

Dear Terri.
Your venom toward Camilla and Charles is unfortunate.
It is obvious that Charles always loved Camilla, and that because of Royal pressure he was forced to marry Diana. This marriage was also unfair to Diana, as she apparently thought that Charles loved her, and did not realize that it was to all intents and purposes an arranged marriage. When she realized this, she lashed out by having affairs with other men,and exposing the Royal family.
The marriage was an unhappy one for both parties, with the only saving grace, being the gift of two sons.
Be a little more forgiving, and charitable, and don,t judge people if you have not walked in their shoes.

It really is not excuse for a man to cheat on his wife, because she knew it was an arranged marriage. No young woman should be expected to handle the fact she had such a dolt for a husband. Diana was treated like a poor stepchild, IMO, and Camilla was probably in the middle of the bed, so to speak, even when these boys were being conceived. That is what I think of men like Charles. Walking in someone's shoes, been there, done that, but they were not Charles or Camilla's shoes. Being on the other side of that coin gives one a view, even if it is only a peek at what Diana went through.
As far as forgiving and charitable are concerned, that is up to the people involved. It is too bad Diana didn't live long enough to have a happy life with a good and decent man who really loved her.

I am truly glad he has no plans to marry right away. I was rather anxious he might get caught up in marriage mania and marry Chelsea just to go along with the tide. I do not think Chelsea is right for him (I don't know either of them, obviously, but I just get a feeling). Now, Harry and Pippa - that would be a good time!!

At least he's smart enough to know marriage is not for him...at least for the moment. He's too wild to be married, and I'm sure he knows that. His brother's the total opposite which, I think, is why marriage will suit him.

Dawn, I agree with you that is is unfortunate (rather one-sided choice of words), of Prince Charles' indiscretion with Ms. Boles (who is no uglier than he), however, let us remember that if he had been a MAN earlier and married her before she got married to her first husband, Diana would never have married him or been involved in any Royal scandal. She would be alive in anonymity and her children would never be Royals. This entire thing should have taught us something about the harsh choices that life can teach one, so sympathy anf fortune really are relative, aren't they?

Chelsea is no good for Harry, I think the right one will be PIPPA. She is beautiful, decent, and a good girl. At least the royal family knows her, and they will accept her.

I don't know how much these young men are like their father. I think his example of how a married man should behave is really poor. Of course many people don't even bother to get married and think nothing of the example they are showing their children. Yep, I just said that, and probably have a lot of people not liking it, if they read it. I do have to say I believe daddy was looking for a brood mare and not a wife he would be true to through the good and bad times. Oh, and as for Camella, she is probably going to pretend to be part of a happy family regardless. I could go on and on about the past, present and possible future the same as anyone else, but I would rather not judge William or Harry by actions that have not happened with them personally.
