Shia LaBeouf: 'I'm Not Coming Back' to 'Transformers'

It looks like 'Transformers: Dark of the Moon' will be the last for
Shia LaBeouf.
According to
MTV, the resident bad boy has completed his run with robots. He's starred in all three of the franchise's films, which have all proved to be blockbuster hits, but when asked at the MTV Movie Awards last week if this would be his last, he said "For sure, I'm not coming back to do another one. I don't think [director, Michael Bay] will either."
Yet, the ever-so-confident star is not foolish enough to think that if he and Bay walk away from the film that the whole franchise will call it quits.
"It still is a hot property, I think, especially coming out of the third one. So I imagine they'll reboot it at some point with someone else." But LaBeouf won't walk away and never look back, "You have an onus in it. I'll enjoy it. I'll go [see it] opening night, I'll be there. But there is a disconnect. It's mine, dude."
LaBeouf's take on the third film is nothing short of spectacular. He gushed about how 'Dark of the Moon' is the best movie they've made.
"It's not a joke. I'm dead honest, man. I get myself in trouble all the time, but this is our best installment. It's our best movie." He continued, "It's the best action, in terms of the geography. In the second one, you get confused as to who's fighting who and where you are, because it's such a big landscape. This one is 'Black Hawk Down'-ish. It's one location, and the geography is simple to understand."
LaBeouf is joined by Tyrese Gibson, John Malkovich and Ken Jeong in the third 'Transformers' installment, set for release on June 29.

If the third film doesn't open until June 29, then why is it already a blockbuster hit?

Word on the street was the Tranformers director was a jerk, so I told my casting agent to count me out. And this was hard because Paramount checks don't bounce....Alfie-
Hey Al Schrader, we're still waiting to see that fantastic shot that only you and 2 or 3 other people can make on youtube. Put up or shut up!
if you are a fan of the Transformers franchise, even though the second one has a lower rating than the first, you will be calling the 3rd one, even prior to it's a release, a block buster.
why? because i am gonna go, regardless. i am already planning it, and the other millions of people like my brother and myself, who are going to see it even though we got a tad bit disappointed at the second one, when we saw it in theatres.
although seeing the 2nd one for a second, third or fourth time, does bring out the best qualities it in. look at it every time it's on cable, without a doubt and i am still entertained! =)
ANOTHER RICH PUNK THAT THINKS HE'LL BE HOT WITHOUT THE MOVIES THAT MADE HIM BIG.

That's not the impression he gave. He probably just doesn't want to be stuck in the same type of movie over and over again. He wants to move on to something new . . . nothing wrong with that. He said all good things about the franchise. What's the big deal? Do we really want to see him making Transformers when he's in his 40's or 50's and never make any other type of movie??? Let him go man. lol :)
Don't be so quick to say no, Shia.
It's not like they will be calling you back to do another Indiana Jones or Wall Street movie.

Personaly, I wish he wouldn't have been in ANY of the Transformer movies. His "acting" stinks. Plays the same character in every movie he's in. The Transformer movies would have been better without the weak girlfriend/family sub-plot.

Shia...most of us think you are cool. Kids like you. Don't be so quick to say NO. With out you, Transformer will not be the same and with out Transformer...you are not a big Star. So be flexible and have a open mind. Good luck to your decision!!!!

They won't be calling him back for Indiana Jones either. Sorry bagle breath!

Shia LaBeouf has the exact same background as Harrison Ford, who has already played Indiana Jones FOUR TIMES, you douchelord. Jewish mother, non-Jewish father is the case for both of them. Now why don't you go choke on a bagel?
I heard he's getting ready to make a big screen version of his hit TV show "Even Stevens".

Typical of some of these young actors, they get a few movies under their belts and suddenly their egos explode and they're too good to do certain movies anymore.

I met an actor who worked with LeBouef and said he is just totally arrogant, another actor who thinks he is a god. Who cares?

I for one will be glad if Michael Bay leaves. He has done a HORRIBLE job with this franchise (from a quality point of view). First one was good, but only good, second one was one of the worst movies I have ever seen. I can only imagine how this one will be. I will absolutely not go see it in theaters, not gonna waste my hard earned money again.
