Lily Allen Weds, Groom Announces: She's Pregnant

UPDATE: News broke this weekend that Lily Allen's groom, Sam Cooper, shared a very happy secret with wedding guests at the reception: Allen is currently several months' pregnant. Last fall, not long before the couple's engagement, she suffered a miscarriage, so the announcement surely thrilled her loved ones.

British recording artist Lily Allen, 26, is a married woman. The outspoken pop star wore a lacy veiled headress, platform heels and a traditional white gown by French designer Delphine Manivet as she exchanged vows Saturday with longtime beau Sam Cooper.

The ceremony took place in the English countryside, at a centuries-old church in the quaint Gloucestershire village of Cranham, where a cheering crowd gathered to catch a glimpse of the newlyweds as they exited the house of worship.

Fans were alerted to the singer's nuptials when a guest leaked the Save-the-Date card to the press back in March.

About 100 guests reportedly attended the wedding, with 300 friends and family in attendance at the private reception on the grounds of an estate the Grammy nominee owns in Cranham.

The bride's father, musician and actor Keith Allen, walked her down the aisle, according to People.com.

The happy couple, who began dating in 2009, got engaged when Cooper popped the question on Christmas Day 2010 while vacationing with Allen in Bali.

Heartbreak plagued Allen's personal life in the past two years, as she suffered her second miscarriage in October 2010. Allen has described Cooper, 32, as "the love of my life."

Congratulations!!! The only song I know by her is "Smile." It is a very catchy song. Google or iTunes for a listen, it is pretty funny!!

No wonder teens seem to think it's just fine and dandy to pop out kids when they are unwed and poor. Celebrities need to get a clue that these kids are "wann-be's" who imitate them with absolutely no understanding that they are going to have kids the rest of us must care for. Enough already. Set a good example, not a bad one. We do not need more Charlie Sheen or Lindsay Lohan types and we do not need more out-of-wedlock pregnancies.

Parents should set the examples, not celebrities. If you're letting people you have only "met" via the television or radio raise your kids, you need to step back and check your parenting skills.

She's been dating Cooper for 2 years… I think that's an adequate amount of time to be in a relationship with someone.

Man, heard about the miscarriage she had a few years ago but had no idea about this more recent one. I really hope everything goes smoothly this time and everyone is healthy and happy
