Gene Simmons' Unraveling Relationship With Shannon Tweed (Video)

There were some very uncomfortable moments on 'Today' this morning, and despite all of Kathie Lee Gifford's attempts to lighten the mood, there is no denying the tension between Gene Simmons and longtime partner Shannon Tweed.

Gifford asked Simmons if he were in "deep pooky" and if by that she means deep trouble, then the answer is absolutely a yes. Tweed's responses during the interview lead us to believe that these two are on the very rockiest of roads.

The interview centered around Simmons' infidelities, starting with a photo of him with other women. "Oh, kill me now," Simmons said, fiddling with his collar. Tweed looked angry to be there. Hoda Kotb asked Simmons about his assertion that he didn't know the women except from that photo. "Please," said Tweed. "What he means is he didn't know their names."

Tweed said the relationship has pretty much unraveled, but in the interest of the upcoming season of 'Gene Simmons Family Jewels' which details the situation, she didn't want to say too much. "I don't want to give away everything," she said, "but it's not looking great."

What happened to the lie detector test he took a couple seasons ago, he proved he was not a cheater, so whats with this crap now? Seriously, you think the guy whose got a camera following him around and everyone knowing who his family is, would be stupid enough to cheat? Get real, they were just running out of stuff for the show, you'll see it was a farce.

In my opinion, this interview was just as scripted as his reality show. I really enjoyed the first season of Family Jewels, but the episodes continued to obviously be more and more scripted. I believe this interview is just a PR stunt.

The fact that after all these years he never married her is the giveaway, I like them all on the show but I also know these shows are full of setups and heavily edited. If they end their relationship after all these years I hope she gets a boatload of money.
