Gene Simmons' Unraveling Relationship With Shannon Tweed (Video)

There were some very uncomfortable moments on 'Today' this morning, and despite all of Kathie Lee Gifford's attempts to lighten the mood, there is no denying the tension between Gene Simmons and longtime partner Shannon Tweed.

Gifford asked Simmons if he were in "deep pooky" and if by that she means deep trouble, then the answer is absolutely a yes. Tweed's responses during the interview lead us to believe that these two are on the very rockiest of roads.

The interview centered around Simmons' infidelities, starting with a photo of him with other women. "Oh, kill me now," Simmons said, fiddling with his collar. Tweed looked angry to be there. Hoda Kotb asked Simmons about his assertion that he didn't know the women except from that photo. "Please," said Tweed. "What he means is he didn't know their names."

Tweed said the relationship has pretty much unraveled, but in the interest of the upcoming season of 'Gene Simmons Family Jewels' which details the situation, she didn't want to say too much. "I don't want to give away everything," she said, "but it's not looking great."

I personally have watched every episode and Love the Entire Family! Gene is who he is, but should have more Respect for the Mother of his children and partner of 27 years!!! She seems like such an Awesome Person!! He should have never lied to her! Truth Hurts ,but Doesn't Kill!!!! Love Ya Shannon!! I just think they are So Awesome and So Powerful Together! He wouldn't be the same without her there for him!!

At the end of the day, I would hope you would choose your family. Your losing respect all around the world for what your doing to your family. For not stepping up as a man and marrying this woman. She deserves to be your wife. You should honor this woman. Not JUST because she is the mother of your children. But because she is Shannon Tweed, a beautiful woman inside and out. She has given you her life, her love, her devotion. Do not turn your back on this woman. Marry her.

This is all a hoax. Shannon and Gene have been on every talk show this week. She has has not been fixing herself up like she usually does. He keeps arching his eyebrow. Then someone ask's a question about his women. She gives him a dirty look and then she walks out. He just acts like nothing happened. They have to do this so they can get more people to watch their reality show. They would never make these rounds if they were really breaking up. First of all she hasd nothing to worry about. He is old and ugly. He hair looks like a huge brillo pad. They are unsulting our inteligence

I don't believe it either, very scripted. I just think that Gene is too old to do much with a woman now. Shannon is pathetic if you ask me. I can't believe that you could stay with someone that cheats like that for all those years, but hey she had all the money she wanted and a nice place to stay. I think it was an open marriage. I did feel sorry for her once, I think it was on MTV's cribs years before Family Jewels, Cher came to visit and Gene was so excited to show her around his mansion trying to impress her. Shannon broke down because Cher was Gene's ex-girlfriend and he cared more about impressing Cher than Shannon's feelings.

I was watching it last night thinking, yeah sure you are going through this emotional thing and you can sit there and pose at the end of the show to make it more dramatic. Poor Gene. I bet you that this is all a build up for there season finale wedding, all of the suckers that believe any of this show are invited.

Dang, looks like his daughter already put on the freshman 15, and she has just started college, lol. And talk about contrived....please, sweetie, take off the Obama t-shirt. It reeks of desperation, and makes you look foolish.

As for the episode, I'm calling BS. Gene has been surrounding himself with eye candy for years, but now it's an issue? Whatever. I like how Shannon acted like she had never seen a picture of Gene with other women before. I'm pretty sure if he were cheating with them, he wouldn't have walked out of the restaurant with them, and posed for the paparazzi.

I've watched this show for a while now. It is so scripted it's insulting. Yet, I continue to watch. After last night's episode my first thoughts were that this is just a sham. A ploy to grab ratings. But I'm not certain. I have much respect for Ms. Tweed, but Meryl Streep she ain't. Her tears seemed genuine. Just don't believe she capable of that level of acting. I would imagine each member of the family receives his/her own check for appearing in the show. Making these appearances with Gene now and refusing to say anything that would ruin the season may be a contractual obligation. Who knows? I've certainly been fooled before...

For those of you that say that it is scripted...sure some parts may be to make the show go smoother, but I do believe that they really do follow them around. And her TEARS last night did NOT look fake. She genuinely looked hurt. Not to mention that the camera crew silently walked out as she sat in the bed crying.

Well....it's all a farce but we will follow it anyway, diehard kiss fans will follow it for amusement and entertainment. These two are as tight as tight can be. I mean they had face-lifts together right? I think he needs to marry this gal finally, maybe that will be the cliffhanger at the end of the 5th episode. Been a Shannon Tweed fan for FOREVER. Very sad that Gene doesn't seem to know what he's throwing away in his obsessive ongoing pursuit of money and fame. Shannon is the best thing that's ever happened to him, but he doesn't seem smart enough to realize he's heading straight for sad lonely old man status. Sooner than he thinks. Breaks my heart for that family.
