Lindsay Lohan Throws Roof Party While on House Arrest (Photos)

Lindsay Lohan isn't exactly doing a stellar job of making her house arrest stint look like time spent reflecting on her latest indiscretion. The actress threw a roof party on Sunday, letting every paparazzo and tourist with a point-and-shoot capture her blatant disregard for the judge's orders to lay low while staying in.

Lohan hosted a house arrest party on the roof of her Venice Beach pad. Guests indulged in cold beers and wine while Lohan, who wasn't seen partaking in the booze, mingled among her guests, cigarette in hand.

And the party was apparently so epic that it called for a costume change as the night wore on -- Lohan started the day in jean cut-offs and a loose, blue-printed blouse and ended the evening in a revealing, low-cut black dress.

Lohan in currently at the midpoint of her 35 day house arrest sentence -- the punishment resulting from her guilty plea for stealing a $2,500 necklace from a Venice Beach jewelry store. The forthcoming 'Gotti: Three Generations' star was also sentenced to 480 hours of community service.

We have a feeling that if house arrest looks this good, socialites everywhere won't think twice about pulling a five finger discount.

Really!!! If she is having a party while on house arrest, isn't that cause to suspend it and take her to jail. I can't believe how easy they are making it for this girl to do whatever she wants, whenever she wants....I'm sure she LEARNING A LESSON!

This woman will never-ever be held accountable. I am not sure why the legal system tolerates her insolence. I have wondered for a long time why no one ~NO ONE!~ has recognized her apparent death wish and let her alone. She had no regard for her life .. why on earth do the people 'close to her' continue to help her toward sobriety. That appears to be the last thing on earth she is interested in.

WHAT SHE NEEDS IS FOR THE PHOTOGRAPHERS AND THE NEWS PEOPLE TO STOP THE PUBLICITY, ITS THE ATTENTION THAT SHE CRAVES, JUST STOP IT AND LET HER GO AWAY QUIETLY, !!!!!!!!!!

A lot of us know how hard it is to stay away from alcohol & drugs if we use them and abuse them. This is no way in heck for her to stay clean...if that's what's she's attempting to do. The temptation is just too hard for someone with her partying habits. We all know she was not sober. I guess she doesn't think these pics will be brought up next time she's in court. At least she was smart enough to not be seen with a beer in her hand or a line up her nose!

It didn't look like anything like a wild house party on the roof. Big deal some people came over and they all sat around on the roof deck drinking wine smoking cigarettes. Sounds like a rather ordinary Saturday evening.

Puh-leez....am I the only one who is sick of hearing about this skank? It's obvious she or someone on her "team" knows how to work "it" so she can continually gets away w/ everything she has done, & will continue to do so.....hey, maybe she & Charlie Sheen should hook up? A match made...if she were anyone else, hard-working, average person, she would have been locked up & not seen the light of day since her 1st trial. She's a plague, & a disgrace to humanity.

I'm not a Lohan fan but I'm going to have to defend the girl on this one. That doesn't look like much of an "epic party" to me. There are 4 people there and it looks like that wardrobe change was her just a bathing suite. This is stupid. She had some friends over, I don't really see the big deal.

Thanks for being a voice of reason. I don't care for Lohan's usual antics either, but her house arrest clearly states she can have guests over. I don't know what kind of parties the Popeater staff regularly attends, but this was not a party by most people's definition. This was a small gathering of friends. Give me a break.

She is under house arrest! She is being punished or is supposed to be! I don't care if its 1 or 4, she should be sitting inside doing nothing

I doubt she cares whether you care or not. The point is, the court doesn't care. She is allowed to have guests and it says so on her house arrest order. If my order allowed me to have guests, I would not be sitting around doing nothing, either.
