Denise Richards Writing Memoir, Will Discuss Charlie Sheen

Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen had quite a turbulent marriage--and now Richards is getting ready to write about it. The actress is penning a memoir, RadarOnline.com reports.

In an interview with RadarOnline, Richards reveals why she's writing the book and why she thinks it will help others.

"I get into the good stuff about my marriage, because people have only read the rotten stuff," she said, referring to her marriage to Hollywood bad boy, Sheen. "So, you know, there was a beautiful love story between he and I and then it went the way it went."

She continued: "But I talk more about how I felt during that time, because I think a lot of women can relate to that going through a divorce and custody and being a single parent, trying to work and all that stuff."

But, Richards admits it's not a tell-all. "Well it's not a tell-all, but it's hopefully something that's inspiring. I went through a whole lot and I get asked a lot of questions about that time in my life, so I figured I would write my story and hopefully anyone that has been, you know, dealing with challenges will know that there is light at the end of the tunnel," she said.

The book will be released on July 27.

Well, it's only 4 pages (including 2 pages of pictures) and it's written in crayon, but she gave it her best shot!

Denise has every right to write her story. Denise hasn't always made the best decisions in her life but those decisions she is now living with. I truly believe in the beginning with her and Charlie it was a romantic Cinderella story, what followed is the nightmare, for which alot of people experience.
The one thing I do truly admire about Denise is how she has raised Sam and Lola, not as Hollywood Brats but as simple as young normal girls can have. Denise could have been a Brooke, but she's not. Denise had a career before Charlie and will continue after Charlie. What she did to Heather bit her in the butt with Charlie, and she has lived a life I would never want.
Her motherly instincts are to raise her children but also try to include their father. She is trying so give her that benefit.
