Singer Joss Stone Targeted in Robbery, Murder Plot

Joss Stone is in the middle of a very scary situation. According to police, two men have been arrested for plotting to rob and murder the British soul singer.

The men, ages 30 and 33, were arrested near Stone's UK home, OK! Magazine UK reports. The police found swords, rope and a body bag with the men upon their arrest.

"Police attended an address in Cullompton yesterday morning after alert residents notified officers about a suspicious-looking vehicle," a spokesperson for the Devon and Cornwall Police said.

"Officers attended the area at around 10am and subsequently arrested the occupants of a red Fiat Punto," the spokesman continued.

"Major crime detectives are continuing to investigate," he added.

In addition to the weapons, the men also had detailed maps and photos of Stone's rural property with them when they were taken into custody.

I don't even know who this girl is, but I am so sorry for her. How long can they hold someone in England for PLANNING a crime? If/when they get out, will they still be dangerous, or was this a plan that required no one know anything about them? If they are just thieves, they will go away now, but if they are crazy stalkers, they will have to die before they leave her alone. I hope the best for her and her family.

My God, what is *wrong* with people nowadays? Thank goodness for that neighbor and that they were stopped in time. I hope that Joss has a good security system in place, along with a few mean guard dogs......if not, I bet she will now. That poor girl, I can only imagine how terrified she was/is. I think (not sure) it may have something to do with the ex-boyfriend (or husband?) That her ex told her, she owed him alot of money because her hit songs were the result of their breakup. SO, I wouldn't be surprized if he's in on the plot, too.

I'm with you, I've never heard of her. It's awful though. And to the replies that 'you may want to get out more' and that someone that doesn't know who she is, is 'ignorant', I bet they don't know who their senators from their state are or their congressmen. But they know every actor and singer out there by gosh!
