Taylor Swift's 'Tattoo' Is Tribute to Tunesmiths

Relax, moms of young daughters.
Taylor Swift does not have a new tattoo. Despite what may look like permanent body art on the darling of country music, we can assure you it washes off.
The reigning ACM Entertainer of the Year and recent
CMT Music Awards Video of the Year winner has been spotted at several recent concerts with script written down her left arm. Upon further inspection, the self-applied Sharpie art is song lyrics from other artists, and it changes from show to show.
Take, for instance, the photo of Taylor above, taken during her Speak Now ... Help Now! tour rehearsal in Nashville on May 21. The country superstar has written down her arm, "You have every right to be a beautiful life" -- a line from friend Selena Gomez's 'Who Says.' Fitting lyrics given that this charity relief concert raised $750,000 for families affected by the devastating tornadoes that ripped through multiple southern U.S. states.

At the opening night of her Speak Now North America tour in Omaha, Neb. (May 27), Swift was spotted with, "You gotta keep your head up, but you can let your hair down" sprawled down her left arm. Those lyrics are from Andy Grammer's 'Keep Your Head Up,' and are also quite appropriate for the entertainer's energetic live show, during which she often swings her signature long blond curls around.
Swift, once again, dawned lyrical body art during her performance at CMA Music Festival Sunday (June 12). The 'Mean' singer paid tribute to fellow country superstars Sugarland during country music's biggest party with the line, "Remember me in ribbons and curls, love your baby girl," from the duo's debut single, 'Baby Girl.'

Wow.. you guys are so sad.. And jealous !!!

She could get a tattoo over every square inch of her skinny body and she still can't sing a lick.

Tattoo's are the biggest turn off there is, there has to be something wrong with the body to warrant any tattoo's.

Taylor was wise to get a wash off tattoo.
Woman and tattos, dont go together in my opinion.
It can be a beautiful rich woman, dressed up perfectly, with the hair done, and make up to match, then when I see the tatto, it makes her look cheap, 'too me.' I am not the only one that thinks this way.
Even my son had some tattos on his legs, when he was young, and he spent lots of time, money, and effort to get rid of them.
I wish young people would wait to get tattoos if they want them, they never know how they will feel about them later in life.

I see nothing wrong with a small pretty tattoo on a female on somewhere like the upper back. But on arms they look awful especially for going out and dressing up. Those would look cheap "to me."

Really? She "dawned" lyrical body art?
Someone needs to kick the editor.

Didn't anyones parents teach them if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all? I don't get why people take the time just to write something negative about someone else. I had the pleasure of meeting Taylor Swift many years ago and even tho I am 8 years older than her she is my role model.. if I had a teenage daughter I would want her to look up to Taylor and not someone like Miley Cyrus as most young girls do. When I met Taylor she drew a heart on my foot and I got it tattooed on the next day because I knew even tho she was young and most people had no clue who she was, she meant something to me and I will never regret it because even when everyone forgets who she is, I wont. Love you Taylor!!

Oh, for the days when only truck drivers and sailors had tattoos.

Thank god it is not real, these girls are going to look hilarious when they are 60 all saggy arms with these tatoo sleeves, can you see it!

It's the number of 'Born This Way' Gaga tattoos that really makes me laugh. No, you were not born that way, by very definition, a tattoo is an unnatural addition to your body!

I think it's a cute idea, and you people are way too negative sometimes.

Ms. Swift has turned the corner to being a trashy young woman with this tatoo. I once had respect for her, but no more.

Is there something wrong with your head?? Seriously, what part of TEMPORARY SHARPIE tattoo dosen't resonate with your brain? She wrote inspirational words on her arm that will wash off and you are calling her trashy? You do realize that millions of little girls write on themselves every single day, right?
To say I love you smiles unreal world and I am the owner of "minimum bought all-stars from the names and evacuated WARDA feel admitted in the run away poem Galaid Watt Perfume been talk of you present your replies waited for the word alone waited for the word I love you say I love you as saying Khel distance closer and more as saying what Hsavh dreams can grow and converge, even if difficult to speak enough know about you feel and cordoned off by Ahdan, which revived life let me say a word I love you to my heart returned his youth as saying system regret my heart love me

I hate tattoos. i hope Taylor never gets a tattoo, if she does I will loose all respect for her. the reason so many girls like her is coz she is nice sweet and innocent and getting a tattoo (no matter what it is) ruins that image.

I love how I'm reading "omg she's so trashy for getting a tattoo" if you were to actually READ the article without putting your two sense in where it doesn't belong in the first place you'd know that it's NOT REAL. It's SHARPIE. Sharpie, easily washed off. So please, before you start digging into this young girls personal life and add drama to every detail where it is not needed... Get your fact's straight. ;)

I was wondering about the "tattoo." I'm glad it wasn't real. I just saw her in concert. She's a lovely young lady and played the piano, banjo, ukelele, standard guitar and twelve string while singing songs that she wrote. And, unlike so many other pop stars, she had refuses to perform half naked.
