Blake Lively: A Vision in White at 'Green Lantern' Premiere (Photo)

Blake Lively was all smiles at the world premiere of her latest flick, 'Green Lantern,' Wednesday night.

According to Just Jared, the 'Gossip Girl' star wore a sheer white Chanel Couture gown as she worked the red carpet at the famous Grauman's Chinese Theater in Los Angeles.

Co-star Ryan Reynolds was also on hand at the premiere to greet fans and celebrate the action-packed film, which opens Friday.

Lively stopped by 'The Today Show' earlier this week and talked to host Matt Lauer about why her character in the film, Carol Ferris, is not your run-of-the-mill superhero girlfriend, saying she's one tough cookie to Reynold's Hal Jordan/Green Lantern.

"In the comic, she turns into a villain at one point, so that would be the best," said Lively. "It was great because normally these women are the damsels in distress, but she's a strong woman and she's always challenging him and they're always going head-to-head."

I don't think Ryan Reynolds is a good actor to portray Green Lantern. It just doesn't seem to fit.

THE WHITE HAPPENS TO LOOK GOOD WITH HER TAN OR WOULD YOU PREFER SHE WEAR SOME RIDICULOUSLY HIDEOUS GETUP LIKE "LADY GAGA". PEOPLE SEEM TO "ADORE" LADY GAGA WHO IS SUCH A DAMN FAKE, A TERRIBLE ROLE MODEL AND SO FULL OF HERSELF. IF SHE WERE REALLY TALENTED SHE WOULD NOT HAVE TO SMOKE A LOT OF WEED WHILE WRITING HER MUSIC. THE NEW SONGS SUCK BIG TIME! BLAKE LIVELY IS THE TOTAL OPPOSITE AND SHE DESERVES TO BE RECOGNIZED.
