Jim Carrey proved that you don't have to be original to be funny (or awkward) on 'The Late Show With David Letterman.'Making the rounds to promote his new flick 'Mr. Poppers Penguins,' Carrey dropped by 'Letterman' to chat up the family comedy and to offer his best Tom Hanks impersonation.
Carrey recreated one of Hanks' more memorable visits to the 'Late Show' note-by-note, scream-by-scream, and gyration-by-gyration by retelling Hank's story involving an unfortunate skunk spraying.
Call it a comedy cover song, or a homage to an event that that didn't really call for an homage.

Mr. Carrey should stick to trying to act, instead of acting like a fool.

hahahahahaha Too funny! I loved the look on his face while they played the Tom Hanks video. Carrey had it copied down to a T!! hahahaha

Obviously that was planned. They wouldn't HAPPEN to have the Tom Hanks video ready to play. It's weird that they imply it's plagiarism. It's just a joke. Maybe a joke that didn't go over to well, but still...
