Oprah's Dream Interview: A Confessing O.J. Simpson
Oprah Winfrey is admitting that her OWN channel has gotten off to a bumpy start, but if she lands her desired interview things may start to look up by next year. Winfrey told a cable industry trade show audience in Chicago on Thursday that her "dream" is to take on O.J. Simpson and get the ultimate scoop on her upcoming chat show, 'Oprah's Next Chapter.'
"I have a dream of O.J. Simpson confessing to me," said Winfrey to cheers, according to a
Hollywood Reporter report. "And I am going to make that happen people."
Winfrey, letting it be known she thinks Simpson murdered wife Nicole Brown, said she would have a big condition for sitting down with the NFL great.
"I don't just want the interview," she told interviewer Paula Zahn. "I want the interview on the condition that you are ready, Mr. Simpson."

This bold goal may sound outlandish, but Simpson has confessed before, in a twisted way, to former HarperCollins publisher Judith Regan for a book and FOX television special. 'If I Did It' was billed as Simpson's "hypothetical" description of the 1994 murder of his wife and her friend Ronald Goldman.
He was acquitted in a circus-like murder trial in 2005 but was later convicted in a civil case that awarded the families of the victims $33.5 million.
One teensy setback for realizing Oprah's dream is the fact Simpson is currently serving hard time in a kidnapping and armed robbery case. He currently lives at Lovelock Correctional Center in Nevada and will be eligible for parole in about 6 years.
Obviously a televised O.J. confession would potentially the biggest TV event in recent history, save for Super Bowls and balloon boy coverage (kidding), and a ratings bonanza would be just what Winfrey's network could use.
She told Zahn the "bumps along the way" have been surprising to her, namely the sub-par ratings and issues with the network's direction. One top executive departed last month. She said that it's partly her fault because she had to deal with the monumental task of closing out her talk show. But now she's putting it all in for OWN.
"I now have the time to be committed to the nurturing of this network," Winfrey said. "The vacation I thought I was going to have is kind of over ... at least for the time being."
On the lower-than-expected ratings, she said "I let other people worry about ratings ... For me, it is always about service to the viewers. I have committed everything I have to this cable venture. I wouldn't bet against me."
Oprah will star in several shows on the network, including 'Oprah's Next Chapter,' 'Season 25: Oprah Behind the Scenes,' Oprah Presents Master Class' and 'Your OWN Show: Oprah's Search for the Next TV Star.'

. . . oh, and inbred hick Terry Hobbs who killed some children and blamed some other kids for it and got away with it. . .
Really? The majority of murderers, rapists, and theives are minorities. Take a look at what's in our prison systems.
Scott Peterson? He was convicted before it ever went to trial. Why? Because he cheated. There was no hard evidence, none at all. And Oprah is the biggest narcissist to ever walk the face of this earth. I hoped that when the Oprah show was finished she would fade away to enjoy her millions. But oh no, now we have the Best of Oprah in place of her regular show and now the new show. Give me a break. I stopped watching her years ago and this is one reason why.
Hey Mchris837
So, whats your point. Minorites have heard that before.
Do me a flavor. Walk up to a minority and say that, and maybe they will put you out of your misery.
Sorry, but the majority of murderers and rapists are white males and the FBI profile of a serial killer is a white male. Minorities go to jail more often than not due to a lack of legal representation having to go with a public defender and thus must plea bargain due to a public defender's large case load.
Hey Jim, yes the majority of murderers and rapist are white, that because the majority of the population is white. The FBI profile of a serial killer is not a white male, thats a myth. The following is from the FBI's website about serial killers. "Serial killers are not all white males: the racial diversification of serial killers generally mirrors the overall U.S. population".
Sue, he was convicted because he was guilty. No one else would have done it and it was NOT a random act. There were too many coincidences to point the finger at anyone but the real murderer Scott Peterson.
Did he really snow you?
NOW IF SHE HAD A WHITE PECKER WOOD IT WOULD BE DIFFERENT
Oprah's reign is over. She needs to go into one of her holes and stay there forever. SHE'S THRU!!! She's only good for corrupting mindless housewives heads.

I KNOW this will be unpopular as a trip to a dentist, but I am not crazy, and I think he did not actually kill them. I think he had something to do with it, and knows who did do it.
My logic? The glove. Forget the if it doesn't fit, you must aquit theory. They said the glove was worn by the killer, OJ. They said he cut himself at the scene on the finger of the hand wearing the glove. BUT, his hand had the cut, no cut was made to the glove, and no blood evidence was found inside it. IF you have ever cut yourself with a glove on, it MUST have a cut in the glove in order to cut the hand.
Whut youz beez meanzin!!!! All us Apicans beez nowzin dat duh honky rascist POLeese beez settin dis innzocent brutha up. Heez goona beez payin youz all bak wen he giss outta da lockup. Were da whyt wimminz!
Don, that blood from his hand was him trying to slit his wrist after watching his former team implode in four consecutive Super Bowls.....lol
Maybe you will get to watch him fry. Has your booking for the Celestial Suites been confirmed?
Judy & Garry ... As a matter of fact yes it has!
Has YOURS???
Correction to story: Simpson was acquitted of murder in 1995, not in 2005.
