Country stars Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert tied the knot last month in Texas, and now 'The Voice' coach is revealing how the happy couple spent their honeymoon.

"Our plan was just to go home for about three days," Shelton told E! Online, adding that Lambert was the one who suggested a low-key honeymoon in order to give him a break from traveling. However, Shelton wanted to give his new bride a surprise.

"Her just saying that, I decided at that moment I was going to surprise her with a trip somewhere...just knowing she was willing to [forgo a big trip] for me," he said.

So after spending some time at home in Oklahoma, the newlyweds jetted off to Cancun to stay at friend and fellow country crooner Reba McEntire's house.

"I surprised her and flew her down there with a couple friends of ours for three days of absolute crazy fun," he said. "We got to experience everything: we got drunk, we ate too much, we got seasick one day, we got sunburned, I did a couple shots of salt water that I didn't mean to because the waves were hitting me too hard."
