Christina Aguilera Makes Bank on 'The Voice'

Christina Aguilera makes big money off of her latest gig as coach on NBC's hit battle of the bands show 'The Voice,' but you might be surprised to hear just how much. Brace yourself.

Aguilera reportedly earns a staggering $225,000 per episode. Yup. That means the singer makes 2.25x the amount of the future winner of the show's $100,000 prize -- every episode.

So in just eight episodes, Aguilera has grossed $1,800,000 since the show's April 26 premiere. Not too shabby for a month-and-a-half of work!

And it gets better. Aguilera's co-stars Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton only make $75,000 per episode, which is no doubt an enviable paycheck, but it means that Xtina makes $150K more per episode than her male colleagues.

Break that glass ceiling, girl!

I feel that is BS because the guys are just as famous as she is. everyone on the show should make the same pay since they are doing the same job.

She is a Legend. So, Legends get paid more. Duh.

She is NOT a legend, except maybe in her own mind. She's got about 12 years experience as an adult in the music industry- became popular (to some) in 1999. There's no denying she has a great voice but she is only 30 or 31 years old. A legend? Pffft-hardly.

um she has been around longer than they have her debut came out in 1999 Blake's in 2001 Don't know about Cee Lo's and Marron 5's came out in 02. Christina is a bigger star than the other three so of course she's gonna get paid more. that's like the lead star in a movie gets paid more than the supporting cast does for instance for Philadelphia Tom Hanks got 12 million dollars and had the actress that played his mother in the film taken a pay check she would've gotten 9.8 million and that was her last film on the big screen before she retired at 63 after 38 years after winning an oscar Sag's lifetime acheivement award 2 of her 3 golden globes & a Bafta. it's not about the money it's about the work

I'm trying to figure out why Christina gets paid more than men on the show. Is this reverse discrimination. What happened to the "Libby Ledbetter" law where everyone with the same qualifications and the same job, regardless of their sex (male or female) get paid the same? I think Christina is a great performer and I enjoy her totally. I also think Adam Levine, Cee Lo Green and Blake Shelton are great performers. Why is this WOMAN making more for the same job?

Good for Christina for making bank that is awesome I think she makes the most because she maybe a little more famous than the rest just my opinion. I don't care either way.
