Tom Cruise Rocks Out With No Shirt and Long Hair (Photo)

Just a couple weeks after Alec Baldwin and Russell Brand Tweeted a photo of themselves in costume for their upcoming flick, 'Rock of Ages,' co-star Tom Cruise has done the same.

Early Friday, the 'Jerry Maguire' actor Tweeted a pic of himself in character as fictional heavy metal star Stacee Jaxx in the big-screen adaptation of the hit Broadway musical. Cruise, 48, sports long hair, skintight pants and lots of tattoos.

In the film, he sings Bon Jovi's famous hit, 'Wanted Dead or Alive.' And the director reveals he's got a good voice. "He can sing!" Adam Shankman told E! News earlier this year. "It's a miracle!"

The all-star cast of 'Rock of Ages' also includes Julianne Hough, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Malin Akerman and Mary J. Blige.

Tom Cruise is way too old to be doing roles like this. What they should have done was shockingly have a real singer do a role. Its based on a cheesy broadway show, so it doesn't matter who they had to do the role.

You're nuts...too old? I mean this guy isn't wheel chair material...Look at Johnny Depp...I guess he is too old to play Captain Jack Sparrow...I am 48 and I have lots and lots of energy...I usually get just 5 hours of sleep and I am good to go for the rest of the day...I go to bed between 3 and 4 am and I am usually up by either 8 or 9 am...If you are this age and you feel like you are too old than I feel sorry for you and if you aren't close to this age...I hope you remember this dumb statement that you wrote when you do get that age...I feel better at 48 than I did at 28 :-) Now let me go and put away my walker and false teeth...geesh.
