Princess Diana's Brother, Charles Spencer, Marries Wife No. 3

At the Spencer family home known as Althorp, in Northamptonshire, England, Princess Diana's younger brother tied the knot for the third time on Saturday.
The ninth Earl Spencer, Charles, wed Canadian philanthropist Karen Gordon in a morning wedding on the grounds of the ancestral estate where Diana is buried, according to the U.K.'s
Telegraph.
Spencer, 47, and Gordon, 37, announced their engagement in February after meeting at a Los Angeles cocktail party and enjoying a whirlwind romance. In late April, the fiances attended the Westminster Abbey
wedding of his nephew,
Prince William, sitting together in the same church where Spencer once gave his controversial eulogy criticizing the royal family at the 1997 funeral of his sister. Diana's sons, however, were noticeably absent from their uncle's wedding this weekend.
William and his new bride
Kate Middleton (now Duchess of Cambridge) skipped the celebration, as did Diana's other son,
Prince Harry, who reportedly had "a long-standing private engagement" that conflicted with his uncle's latest nuptials. William, currently on duty in the Royal Air Force, was an adorable page boy at Spencer's 1989 wedding to first wife Victoria Lockwood. The marriage ended bitterly in 1997 amid infidelity allegations.
Saturday's ceremony at Althorp preceded a luncheon that was attended by approximately 170 guests, including the sisters of the late Princess Diana, Lady Jane Fellowes and Lady Sarah McCorquodale.
Also at the wedding were Spencer's six children from his two previous marriages, and Gordon's two children with her ex-husband, Hollywood producer Mark Gordon ('Saving Private Ryan,' 'Grey's Anatomy').
After Spencer, whose estimated worth is nearly $200 million, abruptly ended his engagement to British socialite Lady Bianca Eliot in September 2010, he began romancing Gordon, whose U.S.-based charity Whole Child International aids orphans around the globe. The newlyweds reportedly plan to make the bride's Southern California home their primary residence.

Thats really nice that Dianas two sons couldn't make it to their mothers brothers wedding, selfish brats. All they care about is theirselves and the stupid queens birthday they kissed up to.

They're selfish because they didn't attend their 46-year old uncle's third wedding? LOL...puleeze...the boys actually have a life...Brother Charles does not!!
Trust me there is a lot more to the story of them not attending Trust me
Perhaps Diana's children didn't attend because their uncle is a very unpleasant man who has bullied his former wives and girlfriends. He has failed to live up to everything he said at his sister's funeral service.
Terri..Selfish ? Hes Been Engaged and Married enough Times.. it say William was on duty...if he cant get out of it so there is a reason.and like Lori Said there is alot more to the story of why's .Wonder how long this one will last?
William participated in his uncle's FIRST wedding in 1989. Go read the article again.
You are so right, it's as if their Mother's family really don't matter i know she is so proud of their treatment of her family. Because they don't do anything with her family.
There is no such word as "theirselves." It's themselves. Before you criticize someone else, make sure you're not the one who looks stupid.
William and Kate are on their honeymoon in America. I can't speak for Harry. At any rate, Diana's brother isn't the best person, so there may be more to the story than we know.
Really? And you know this how?
It was his THIRD marriage. If he doesn't take his marriages seriously, why should they.
Bristol blames everyone but herself. Just like her mother. This girl is not who I want my girl looking up to at all. And to redo her face is just a joke. What a clown this girl is to me. And never trash the father of your child. The child will resent it someday Children need both their mother and their fathers. She needs to grow up
His new bride is beautiful..to bad he has a head the size of a watermelon..lol

His Marriage will last about as long as their mom and dad's did. If you can forgive Prince Charles and Camilla, surely you can forgive your uncle for speaking the truth about the royal fAMILY AND THEIR MISTREATMENT OF THEIR MOTHER PRINCESS DIANA

Perhaps the 3rd time is a charm for the notorious womanizing Earl. He probably should have chosen another location for the ceremony, though. It is his 3rd marriage at the ancestral home - bad vibes.

also maybe the two boy's planned it that way as to not upstage the wedding of their Uncle and his bride...yanno...THE DUKE AND DUCHESS OF CAMBRIDGE all eyes would be on them instead of Earl Spencer and Karen Gordon...as for Harry, oh well him and Pippa..oops sorry Chelsy ...
