'Bachelorette' Star Chris Lambton Engaged to Peyton Wright

Another match made in reality TV heaven! Chris Lambton, the runner-up from season six of the 'The Bachelorette,' is engaged to Peyton Wright, a contestant from season ten of 'The Bachelor.' Lambton proposed this past Saturday at his house in Cape Cod, PEOPLE reports.

"I knew it the first day I met her – she walked in and I was like, 'Oh, my God,'" Lambton told PEOPLE. Fellow 'Bachelorette' contestant, Jesse Beck, introduced the couple. "Everything happens for a reason!" Lambton added.

Peyton spoke fondly of the proposal to UsMagazine.com: "He's a Southern gentleman at heart," she said. "Right after he did it, the entire family came over and joined us for a celebration at his house."

The 27-year-old also talked a little about wedding planning. "We're just going to enjoy being engaged for awhile and worry about that later," she said. "Once I get over the initial shock, I think we'll sit down and start putting together our ideas of what I like, what he likes, and what we've both envisioned."

"I love her and I'm so happy to be with her," Lambton, 33, told UsMagazine at a 'Bachelor' reunion party in January. "And you know what, two good things came from this show: one, meeting Peyton and two, the strong friendships I made. I have no regrets about doing the show."

hey mickey...kind of rude and very cold, don't you think? Do you know either of these folks? It would not be entirely out of line to just wish them well and go ahead with your clearly fabulous life. I do not remember Payton from the show but I remember Chris and thinking what a great family he had. Hope they will be happy together. You know with all the high drama and weirdness, it would be nice if the bachelor/bachelorette produced at least a few couples who made it in the real world and were actually happy.
