Katie Holmes Flaunts Bod in Red Bikini and Short Shorts (Photos)

Katie Holmes got her surf and sun on over the weekend with her partner in crime, Suri, by her side. The pair played on the sand and splashed in the waves in Miami. Holmes looked fit as she waded in the water in a dark red itsy bitsy bikini and a pair of pink denim short shorts.

However, Suri did not seem as prepared for a day in the sun. The pint-sized fashionista swam in the ocean with all of her clothes on -- not quite what we expect from the mom who seems to always have Suri prepared for whatever the day's activities may be.

Katie Holmes can buy and sell all of you that are talking about what she and her child are wearing. When you have it, you don't have to flaunt it. Cudoos to her for keeping herself and her kid clothed up. There is already enough butt showing in this society. Her body is her own to do with as she likes, just like you do what you like with yours. She is certainly not skinny. And, she is toned. Just because you like your women fat and sloppy, (no offense to large women)doesn't mean that she looks bad. Like someone already said, get off the TV and internet, and get a life.

I think she looks great. She looks strong and happy. I'd love to look like that after having a child! By the way, after you nurse a child, your chest and body aren't ever the same! Sure she could get implants, but glad she hasn't gone that route. Looks like she's having fun at the beach with her daughter. Big deal if her daughter wanted to get in to water in her dress. Maybe she had a swimming suit underneath and just chose to leave her dress on. Why does it matter? It's just a picture with them on the beach. Why all the scrutiny?!

I applaud Katie for staying true to herself about her body. Good for her for not getting a boob job, because other's think she should to look more feminine. She’s thin, and always has been from what I’ve seen of her, and she’s accepting of herself – that’s all that matters – not what any of you have to say. Our society is so obsessed with body image and it’s disturbing. She’s having a great time and spending time with her daughter – that should be what you’re focused on – not her looks.

None of us have a clue as to what really transpired the whole time that day, unless you happened to be there. All we have to go by is what the paparazzi shows us. Being under the public eye, you want to protect your privacy, but need to deal with it when it can’t be avoided. This is how Katie dealt with it. She shouldn’t have to stay holed up all the time.

By the way, did any of you ever think that maybe Suri has a bathing suit on under her dress, and was just too excited and didn’t want to wait to get in the water, so they just went for it, clothes and all? Good for them for seizing the moments and spending quality time together!

Or maybe her daughter was being a typical kid and wouldn't get dressed and wear her bathing suit. It's possible. Anyone with kids knows this. And maybe Katie didn't bring the suit and then her little one really wanted to go in the water and Mom couldn't resist her pretty pretty please.
