It has been reported that Steven Spielberg demanded that actress Megan Fox be fired from the third 'Transformers' movie after she compared director Michael Bay to Hitler. The Daily Mail is reporting that Bay revealed that he was told to get rid of Fox, saying, "You know the Hitler thing. Steven (Spielberg) said, fire her right now."
Spielberg is the executive producer of the 'Transformer' movies and Fox was replaced by Victoria's Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in the latest installation of the 'Transformers' series called 'Transformers: Dark of the Moon.'
Fox shot into the limelight after the first two 'Transformers' movie and it was due to her performance in them which helped her to be named one of the sexiest people in the world.
The drama between Fox and Bay started in 2009 when she told London's Wonderland Magazine, "[Bay] wants to be like Hitler on his sets, and he is. So he's a nightmare to work for but when you get him away from set, and he's not in director mode, I kind of really enjoy his personality because he's so awkward, so hopelessly awkward."

I feel that the Jewish pity card is too often played in today's age. Make one jest or joke about something Hitler or Halocaust-related, and you're equivalent to a Nazi-supporting redneck with Aryan ideals. Every group of people on this Earth has faced their time of discrimination, pain and hurt - and they have moved on. It's time for Spielberg to learn how to stop taking himself so seriously.

I agree 100%, usual knee jerk reaction.
I hold no love for Meagan Fox but this reaction is plain silly and self righteous.
I think Spielberg just didn't like the woman and found an excuse.
Oh I don't know about that. If someone made jest or made a joke about something that was 9/11 related I would be very upset about it. Certain subjects are too sensitive to some to be "joked about". And not to mention just plain not funny. It's called being sensitive to anothers feelings. Something we need alot more of these days.
Well said, but I can think of two groups that haven't, never will, nor care to move on!
Maybe because the deliberate murder of 6 million people because of their religion is just not funny
Umm, Megan wasnt making fun of the fact that thousands were murdered at the direction of Hitler. She was referring to how Michael Bay acted on set- what she considered a "tyrant". Im half German, and get personally insulted when people refer to Hitler as german because he wasnt, he was freaken Austrian. I just lost all respect for Spielberg because his reaction wasnt much more respectful or less "tyrannical" than Hitler. He didnt like what she said- so fire her? Grow up- sticks and stones my brother.
I can agree with what you're saying. But I have to side with Steven Speilberg for the simple reason that Megan Fox was publicly disrespecting her boss. It doesnt matter the topic of what she said so much as the fact that she made it obvious she doesnt respect her boss. You cant do that in any job without getting fired.
She deserved to be fired. It was a stupid choice she made.
There is no amount of work I wont do on a film, but word on the street was the director of Transformers III was a jerk. It was because of this I had my casting agent take me off of any casting calls for the film - who wants to deal with that ? And that was tough because Paramount checks don't bounce. Spielberg is a gem from what I can see , though I never worked for him...Al-
I happen to think that it was the final straw in what has been an ongoing saga in the Megan Fox foot-in-mouth-itis. She has talked so much crap about the person who gave her her chance and she got what she deserved. I used to think she was so pretty, then she opened her mouth, dumb, rude, etc. Bay was probably just fed up in general. "Akward, so hopelessly akward." Yes, Megan, you are!!
if you publicly bashed your boss, would you expect your job the next day? probably not. it dosnt matter if your a movie star or flip burgers you just dont.
You are SO RIGHT!!!! So her career is probably over. No one will hire her or head Jew Spielberg will have a tantrum! Who is the real Dictator here?
I guess she is not as terrific as she thought she was. I do not get all the attention she gets. She is a so-so actress at best, and only one of thousands of pretty girls in H-wood. She blew it.

She blew it? Any pictures?
Political correctness.....Maybe Bay is a fascist on the Movie
Set..Megan Fox is more qualified to speak to that than you me or Speilberg...Spielberg makes stupid movies anyway, Big music score and Aliens and little monsters on bicycles...certainly no Billy Wider or Joseph Mankiwicz.

spielberg rips off old story lines and remakes them into movies..hasn't had an original idea in years..see..puppet masters for a his remake of his current alien movie on tv//amd transformers are kids toys from the 70's he's a joke
yet he makes more money then you dream of and actors want to work for him on set he is there boss plain and simple if you want your job you dont bad mouth your boss no matter what job its is
You obviously haven't studied the history of Adolf Hitler and you surely didn't live through the II World War. How in the world do you think This dumb dummy should be more qualtified to speak about it than anyone else. She needs to learn that she is as dumb as dirt and not important to anyone other than perhaps her mother and father and she can be replaced in a heartbeat. When she has a good job, she better learn to keep her mouth shut and respect her co-workers.
It makes no difference what kind of movies you think Spielberg makes, FOX's callous reference to a historical butcher should not be tolerated, and Spielberg was exactly right in his objective. Some of these young addle-minded stars with no perspective regarding history should remember who they're talking about before they open their big mouth. Bay should have been offended by the remark, and Spielbery, of Jewish decent himself, acted predictably. If she would have made some unflattering remark about some homosexual, the whole board would be ablaze with acriminy.

The anti-Semitism thing has gone too far. It's seems Fox, who wasn't hired for her keen oratory skills, mangled what she was trying to say, and is being made an example.
Agree with you.
