Steven Spielberg Demanded Megan Fox Be Fired from 'Transformers' after Hitler Comment

It has been reported that Steven Spielberg demanded that actress Megan Fox be fired from the third 'Transformers' movie after she compared director Michael Bay to Hitler.

The Daily Mail is reporting that Bay revealed that he was told to get rid of Fox, saying, "You know the Hitler thing. Steven (Spielberg) said, fire her right now."

Spielberg is the executive producer of the 'Transformer' movies and Fox was replaced by Victoria's Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in the latest installation of the 'Transformers' series called 'Transformers: Dark of the Moon.'

Fox shot into the limelight after the first two 'Transformers' movie and it was due to her performance in them which helped her to be named one of the sexiest people in the world.

The drama between Fox and Bay started in 2009 when she told London's Wonderland Magazine, "[Bay] wants to be like Hitler on his sets, and he is. So he's a nightmare to work for but when you get him away from set, and he's not in director mode, I kind of really enjoy his personality because he's so awkward, so hopelessly awkward."

Fox continued. "He has no social skills at all. And it's endearing to watch him. He's vulnerable and fragile in real life and then on set he's a tyrant."

Bay later on went to say that he was not hurt by the said the Hitler comment.

But others did not share the 25-year-old actress view and in an open letter on Bay's website a crew member defended the director, writing, "We've had the tedious experience of working with the dumb-as-a-rock Megan Fox on both 'Transformers' movies."

It should also be remembered that many of Steven Speilberg's relatives were killed during the Holocaust. Therefore, he has every right to be sensitive to any, "Hitler", remarks.

Wow people get some feelings back into those vacant virtual reality game playing so called lives of yours! Spielberg has also directed two of the greatest films of our lifetimes with "Saving Private Ryan" and "Schindler's List"
Though you may not have understood them as they were about life.

you dont fire someone that makes a bad statement. you talk to them about feelings. he made himself a hitler by doing just what he would have done. bad form.if she would have said mussolini or stalin the deed would have been alright. he showed his hitler style by doing this. and bay is like him,do it or else.....

Well lets look at her career now. Yep got none.

film is a rip off of the movie puppet masters 1994 about alien mind controling slugs on the back of humans this tv show is a rip off a waste of time watching and boring to boot turned it off after first 30 min...they threw you right into the middle of the story no explanation of how they got there.. a joke at best another speilberg rip off like all his other movies

Spielberg just siezed upon a chance to get rid of an extremely replaceable "actress" who thought that she was cast in films because of her "intellect". Stories written about Megan and seeing her in interviews do expose her as photogenic and nothing else. Slay The Dragon Lest It Grow Unmanagable.

Guess you better keep your mouth shut about that which is offensive to those who control the money and the jobs. It will be unlikely that Fox will find work in Hollywood again.

Just remember that, like any relationship (this is a working relationship), the response to a particular issue is usually not what the response is really about. There is usually an underlying, unresolved issue and , in this case, this was an excuse to respond in this way.
