Arnold Schwarzengger Pays Child Support Before Filing for Divorce

Even though Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver both have yet to officially file for divorce, following the shocking news of Schwarzenegger's secret love child, the former governor of California is already paying a hefty child support to Shriver, according to Radar Online.

A source close to the couple told Radar that 'The Terminator' is paying "a significant amount of child support. Arnold is also paying for his sons, Patrick and Christopher's private school bills."

The couple has yet to take any financial agreement to court. So does this mean that both parties will be able to come to an arrangement without airing out their dirty laundry in court? Although Schwarzenegger has willingly decided to take care of his childrens' financial needs, that doesn't mean that Shriver doesn't have her own personal wealth to fall back on.

"Even though Maria is a Kennedy, and has inherited a great deal of money from her parents' estate since their deaths, she is taking the child support," the source continued. "Under California law she is entitled to the child support, once either one of them files for divorce. Maria and Arnold's lawyers have been working on a divorce settlement but in the meantime Arnold is willingly paying the money to Maria."

But just because the pair hasn't been duking it out in court yet doesn't mean that Shriver isn't doing her own digging. Shriver is currently working with forensic accountants to garner an exact reading of her husband's vast net worth. We have no doubt that, although humiliated, Shriver will be walking away from her 25 year marriage as an even richer lady.

"Maria wants to get a fair divorce settlement, and move on with her life," the source explained. "She has already begun to do so. She and Arnold talk quite often, it would surprise people how gracious Maria is being about the entire situation. Maria doesn't want the kids to suffer because of stupid decisions their father made."

But Schwarzenegger's children will be far from suffering, their father is taking care of all of his kids' educational endeavors and we're pretty sure anything else they could want -- daddy has some making up to do.

why? does she not make her own money? why do men have to pay exes so much money? It's not like the kids don't live rich anyway...and BTW..it is well known that Arnold has affairs and Maria did not walk into it with blinders on..she knew who she married..it seems the wives of these men that have affairs only get angry when the man fathers a child with someone else..

Fair to his family????? Do you mean he was being fair to his wife and kids while he was out sleeping with the maid????? Was he fair to the maid's child when the child couldn't know who his father was??? The child couldn't be seen with his own father. You have a very strange opinion of what is fair. He was a liar and a cheater and a lousy Governor. He ran for Governor of Calif. and talked his high moral values and all the while he was lying. Yeah real fair and honest guy.

He has always done the right thing taking care of the children. He has paid for the maids kid all along and the house he bought or helped her buy did you see it? No maid is affording that alone. And Arnold was a womanizer before he married her why would anyone expect him to stop except maybe for the honeymoon period but then its back on.. I just wonder who all knew in that house.. Tired of the story...tired of Maria especially. Tired of everyone making her out to be the poor, tread upon woman. This is a savvy political wife that had a mediocre media career leaning mostly on her last name and then on who she was married to. She rode the Arnie publicity and political train as far as she could. You can't tell me she didn't see the resemblance to Arnie in the child long before this. Funny that as soon as Arnie had no where to go politically she jumped ship.
And why is she so intent on knowing every penny that Arnie has? She has more than enough money to live a lavish life style the rest of her life on her own money. And her children's financial needs are being taken care of by Arnold.
I have little or no sympathy for Maria...I have some for her children (except the one that dropped his father's name) but I have the most sympathy for Arnold's other son...the only good things now are that he can know his father as his father and be given the same opportunities as Arnold's other children without Arnold having to hide it.

25yrs is a long time to be married now a days.Let's not forget who cheated here.Maria I don't always agree with her breaking the law she is not a real angel or saint but she is in titled to what is right.He did the cheated let him do the paying.I don't think it is about money with Maria it is about what is right.When you put into twenty five years of married life of your time and words such as for richer or poorer or better or worst sickness or health right is right Arnold needs to pay up and I hope and pray for their children who really the oldest are two young adults now at one being twenty one the other close he will have only three to pay as they go but the other woman and Maria will get money period as they should..Arnold I was always his fan but not anymore he really messed up this time.I take it very serious with marriage.Shine

Like I always said a woman is the one who gets pregnant they should be the one who takes control over birth control, but most of them want to get pregnant so they can get child support and most of the time on purpose.
