Arnold Schwarzengger Pays Child Support Before Filing for Divorce

Even though Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver both have yet to officially file for divorce, following the shocking news of Schwarzenegger's secret love child, the former governor of California is already paying a hefty child support to Shriver, according to Radar Online.

A source close to the couple told Radar that 'The Terminator' is paying "a significant amount of child support. Arnold is also paying for his sons, Patrick and Christopher's private school bills."

The couple has yet to take any financial agreement to court. So does this mean that both parties will be able to come to an arrangement without airing out their dirty laundry in court? Although Schwarzenegger has willingly decided to take care of his childrens' financial needs, that doesn't mean that Shriver doesn't have her own personal wealth to fall back on.

"Even though Maria is a Kennedy, and has inherited a great deal of money from her parents' estate since their deaths, she is taking the child support," the source continued. "Under California law she is entitled to the child support, once either one of them files for divorce. Maria and Arnold's lawyers have been working on a divorce settlement but in the meantime Arnold is willingly paying the money to Maria."

But just because the pair hasn't been duking it out in court yet doesn't mean that Shriver isn't doing her own digging. Shriver is currently working with forensic accountants to garner an exact reading of her husband's vast net worth. We have no doubt that, although humiliated, Shriver will be walking away from her 25 year marriage as an even richer lady.

"Maria wants to get a fair divorce settlement, and move on with her life," the source explained. "She has already begun to do so. She and Arnold talk quite often, it would surprise people how gracious Maria is being about the entire situation. Maria doesn't want the kids to suffer because of stupid decisions their father made."

But Schwarzenegger's children will be far from suffering, their father is taking care of all of his kids' educational endeavors and we're pretty sure anything else they could want -- daddy has some making up to do.

If u remember, The maid waited over 2 years to say anything and didnt put arnold down as the father. They said by law he doesnt have to claim the child. You no he will do the right thing.

Granted, he will have to pay some child support, but lets get real. Even though HE screwed up....Why should he give her a vast amount of money if say she has equal wealth? She is a Kennedy. Just because she has a vagina she deserves millions upon millions of dollars? I do believe he should play a financial role in taking care of his kids and god knows he has the bank account to do so, but women are standing up all over the world SCREAMING how they want to be CEO's in business, play sports, even BOX. So...now we have this EQUAL society between men and women, why always the MAN has to pay? Just food for thought.

Anyone who says his kids will "be far from suffering" is extremely ignorant of the impact of divorce. There will certainly be emotional suffering & it will impact them the rest of their lives.

Im retired from the state of California, but I remember what Arnold told me when I was worried that he was trying to cut my retirement benifits. He stated "Buy a couple of houses and sell them thats how you can make it up." Well Arnold, buy some Real Estate. IDIOT

Why does she want to divorce him? Didn't she think the world of her Uncle Jack and Uncle Ted? That was the norm in the Kennedny family. What makes her thinks she's any different? So I do NOT think Arnold is a slimeball. Yes I agree he did a very horrible thing to his wife and children(from marriage), but I do not think he is a bad person. He made a mistake, people should get over it and forgive him and move on. I believe he is trying to pay for a mistake he made years ago and by doing that I truly think he is sincerely regretful for causing pain. As far as child support goes, I think it is honorable for him to pay but to go as far as to insult that gesture is a little immature and rude of some people. I'm sorry but I know for a fact that 99% of people have some dirty laundry so please do not act so innocent. The only thing different is that Arnold is being publicly humiliated. Just take a moment and try to imagine if you were in his shoes. He did a bad thing. Get over it, and let him and his family pick up the pieces in peace.

Obviously some of or most of the people here think men are the only ones who cheat in a relationship. Please take yor blinders off. And wake up to reality. Women cheat too. It doesn't matter how much of a male basher you are. Both have to support the children cought in the middle. Only reason why this is brought out now is because Arnold's political career is over. Me personally I really don't care what their private lives are about. It seems that bringing out this tabloid trash is what AOhell news is only good for. And with pompous man hating trolls popping out of the wood work just makes this more of a circus.

You might not think he is their brother. But whether you liek it or not. He IS their half brother regardless of what you or anyone else thinks. It is not his fault that he is the product of a cheatful relationship. This why society is so messed up.
