'Jackass' star Ryan Dunn and passenger Zachary Hartwell, were killed Monday in Pennsylvania after Dunn's Porsche went off the road, hit a guardrail and careened into the woods where it caught on fire.According to the L.A. Times, the official coroner's report confirms that blunt force trauma and thermal trauma were the official causes of death in the accident.
After an accident reconstruction, Police Chief Michael Carroll told RadarOnline.com that the Porsche 911 was going "about 130 mph" when the accident happened in a reported 55-mph zone.
"I've never seen a car destroyed in an automobile accident the way this car was even before it caught on fire," Carroll said. "The automobile actually came apart. It was unbelievable and I've been on a lot of fatal accident scenes. This is by far the worse I've ever seen."
Although there has been heavy speculation as to whether the group's night of partying had a direct influence on the fatal crash, the tragedy has been labeled an 'auto accident' rather than a 'DUI,' pending the results of a toxicology report, which will be available in four to six weeks.

He drove fast all the time (quoted from Bamm's mother). It wasn't like this was his first time and I'd bet my life that it wasn't his first time drinking and driving. Maybe you would feel different if he lived (so he could learn from his mistake) but in the process killed one of your loved one.
Yeah! :)
No matter who or the type of relationship, in my grieving, I'd be saying 'if this person hadn't been so stupid he'd still be alive along with his friend
This is very tragic. My understanding, according to people I know that were in the pub that night, is that beers and shots were flowing. He should not have been driving.
Lesson to be learned? Don't drink and drive. Simple.

No, 'here's your tombstone'
What's wrong with the world that anyone would be happy that another human being died a horrifying, painful death like Ryan Dunn did?? The coroner reports that they died from the impact and the FIRE, so they burned alive. And newsflash- I'm sure most men who drive cars like Porches push the limits of their cars to see how fast they can go- stupid, yes but deserving of burning alive, certainly not!! And so far no one knows his blood alcohol level- there is only speculation. At any rate, this is someone's son and loved one and even if it's his own fault he's dead, it's pretty f**ked up to be happy about him burning to death.

oh well ......
mamamia..when you crash at 130mph your instantly dead
I'm sure they didn't burn alive. If you explode on impact, you don't know what hit you.
How can they die from the impact, and burn alive?
No, it's not a matter of being happy about someone's death. It's a matter of being happy that someone who shows such disregard for other people's lives is dead.
Yeah, I'm happy he's off the road -- permanently. How would you feel if it was your family who was hit and killed, instead of the guardrail and tree? Would you be an apologist for him then?
If alcohol wasn't a contributing factor then stupidity was, you can get help for alcohol addiction but you can't fix stupid. When I saw pic's of the car I knew they were going well over 100 MPH.

Whoever was driving had to be drunk for going that fast. So many people take stupid chances with their lives.

the name jack azz fits you well
Actually we don't. Those of us that are responsible drive the speed limit on public roads and save the high speed thrills for the track. We also don't drink and drive. It's hard for me to feel sorry for someone that had such a blatant disregard for others.
So tragic and unnecessary!
