Lauren Conrad already has reality TV, a clothing line and a hit book series under her belt, and now she can add 'magazine writer' to her resume. The former 'Hills' star has been tapped as a guest contributor for Forbes' Lifestyle section and will write a series of articles over the next several months.Conrad's partnership with Forbes will take readers on a "four-month exploration of the fashion business, inner workings of a celebrity web site, the publishing industry and watch for beauty/style tips from the powerbroker herself," Forbes writer Jane Lee writes on their website.
All before 26, the Laguna Beach girl who captured MTV-watching teens back in 2004 has turned what could have been a flash-in-the-pan moment into a legit career doing things other than appearing in front of the camera, and the editors at Forbes are excited.

Good for her! She is one of the few (if not the only?) person from a TV teen drama show, do actually do something smart. All the others are on tabloid covers for bad plastic surgery, drugs, alcoholism, eating disorders, or serial dating other celebrities Here is a woman who has grown up and evolved, and made something of herself -- most refreshing! Congratulations to you, Lauren!

I agree, Tess. I've always liked Lauren. She has a good head on her shoulders and wish her all the success in the world.
Another MTV nobody still clawing away at extending her fifteen minutes. Puh-leeze, couldn't pick her out of a lineup.
