Ryan Dunn at Double the Legal Alcohol Limit at Time of Crash

After much speculation, it has been confirmed that Ryan Dunn was intoxicated when he
drove his Porsche off of a Pennsylvania road at
130 MPH Monday morning, killing himself and his passenger,
Zachary Hartwell.
After an autopsy and toxicology reports were conducted, it was concluded that Dunn had the legal alcohol limit nearly doubled. His blood alcohol level was .196 while the legal limit in Pennsylvania is .08, according to
TMZ.
Dunn reportedly consumed at least three beers and a number of shots -- one round of drinks which he documented in a photo he posted to his Tumblr account just hours before his death.
But according to West Goshen Police Chief Michael Carroll, "No other substances were found in his blood other than the alcohol."
Both Dunn and Hartwell were killed instantly by blunt force head trauma upon impact, before their vehicle burst into flames.
"I've never seen a car destroyed in an automobile accident the way this car was even before it caught on fire," Carroll said previously. "The automobile actually came apart. It was unbelievable and I've been on a lot of fatal accident scenes. This is by far the worse I've seen."
Dunn's colleagues and friends, including Bam Margera, Johnny Knoxville and Steve-O, have been showing their love for the fallen jokester and stunt man, remembering the kind and comedic member of the 'Jackass' family.

I'm Ryan Dunn and this is the 130mph car crash while being over double the legal limit. Famous last words, "Did you guys get that on camera?"
What bout the bar that served him?
I hate it when people try to put the blame on someone other than the person responsible. Sure blame the bar.
I love reading this , So does My boyfriend .he is almost 11year older than me .i met him via agelessc'upid.c'om a nice place for seeking age le ss love.which gives you a chance to make your life better and open opportunities for you to meet the attractive young girls and treat you like a king. Maybe you wanna check it out or tell your friends..
Yeah, sure is. This guy was no hero. Nice that he killed his friend. I hope (for their sake) that they were saved. Eternal damnation is not cool. Oh well. Live and learn....or do we?
I do believe that the bar could legally be held accountable. About 20 years ago there was a ruling, don't remember what court, that said if you have a party and you let one of your attendees get drunk, get in the car, drive and have an accident, you can be held responsible. I believe it is the same for a bar, maybe moreso because you have bouncers there.
The LIQUID wikk give you the COURAGE to do anything. Mr. Dumm will not be having another one.
Darwinism at its finest.
Not like this is a huge shocker. I hope people will learn from this and think twice before getting behind the wheel after they have been drinking. Although it is sad to see two lives lost, I am glad they did not hit any innocent people.

people who drink and drive NEVER learn, no matter how many people are in the news that have died in DUI accidents. I think all vehicles should be made with the breath alizer built right in. If you have alcohol in your system your car will not start.
Where are all the loud mouth people now that its official he was wasted??? There was no doubt to give him the benefit of. People who shoot off their mouth defending a drunk are part of the reason there are still so many DUI deaths. They can't accept reality. They deny the truth. They accept drunk driving as part of a persona. Its their fault too. I'm glad he didn't take innocent people with him. I doubt you loud mouths learned anything by this but at least you shut up for half a day.
my mom died in a car accident and it is sad and i am very glad they did not hit someone else
Mickey, here's one of those loud mouths you referred to, and although it was proven he was drunk, I still say that it's sad he and his friend died, and there's nothing wrong with feeling that way.
I'm sorry he died but it doesn't surprise me at all about the alcohol. He obviously should have known better than to drive a car totally wasted and his friend shouldn't have gotten in a car with him.

thats why they call it drunk ,genius, casue you cant control yourself.
@ brdbrns3 learn how to spell before putting down someone else's posts. Okay genius?
brdbrns3, how ridiculous - he certainly COULD have controlled himself by not getting drunk in the first place. Everyone knows that getting sloshed and then driving is a risky game to play so let's not pretend that being drunk excused him of the responsibility of control.
I have been drunk and knew better than to drive. Drunk does not make you stupid, you are stupid first.
How can TMZ report what his blood alcohol level is when they stated that a toxocology report would take 4-6 weeks?
