Ryan Dunn at Double the Legal Alcohol Limit at Time of Crash

After much speculation, it has been confirmed that Ryan Dunn was intoxicated when he
drove his Porsche off of a Pennsylvania road at
130 MPH Monday morning, killing himself and his passenger,
Zachary Hartwell.
After an autopsy and toxicology reports were conducted, it was concluded that Dunn had the legal alcohol limit nearly doubled. His blood alcohol level was .196 while the legal limit in Pennsylvania is .08, according to
TMZ.
Dunn reportedly consumed at least three beers and a number of shots -- one round of drinks which he documented in a photo he posted to his Tumblr account just hours before his death.
But according to West Goshen Police Chief Michael Carroll, "No other substances were found in his blood other than the alcohol."
Both Dunn and Hartwell were killed instantly by blunt force head trauma upon impact, before their vehicle burst into flames.
"I've never seen a car destroyed in an automobile accident the way this car was even before it caught on fire," Carroll said previously. "The automobile actually came apart. It was unbelievable and I've been on a lot of fatal accident scenes. This is by far the worse I've seen."
Dunn's colleagues and friends, including Bam Margera, Johnny Knoxville and Steve-O, have been showing their love for the fallen jokester and stunt man, remembering the kind and comedic member of the 'Jackass' family.

Hello... he DID take an innocent person along with him, his friend. Although the friend was probably wasted as well. I'm sorry they're both dead, but one look at what's left of the car should tell the story. Drunk driving kills!
And BTW, Mickey, I'm 100% behind you. It got very quiet after the BA level was announced.

The locals papers said he died from blunt force and thermal injuries. The blood tests are not back yet.

Wake up and smell the coffee honey....This guy was a drunken bar fly and I'm surprised he lived this long. It's people like you who make excuses for low-lifes like this who contribute to the problem.
I'm sorry for his lost.......................but? I think Roger Ebert deserves and apology back.

I'm sure this wasn't the first time he drove drunk. I'm surprised he was able to put the key in the ignition. It was bound to happen.

Thank god that he didn't hurt any other people. I don't feel sad or upset in the least when stupid people make stupid decisions that can harm innocent people.

Drunk drivers DO kill people!!!!!!!!! What the hell do you not understand about that? Gee, I guess you can blame God for your infinite STUPIDITY!
In life you have choices and consequences, he drank then drove and sadly he recieved the consequences of his actions regardless of how famous or important he was. It is very sad that he took someone elses life with him...the entire story is sad and did not have to happen. My prayers go out to there families and friends....Rest in peace

Drunk Driving isnt nothing to play with at all....But I will say that my condolences goes out to the families of these two men...I will not judge nor will I spectulate...Its a shame that young lives are lost based on poor behavior of ones self and others, but that doesnt give us no reason to be rude about the matter...Human life is within all of us and that could have been anyone of our family or friends, so we must educate the young and take this as a lesson to learn...

Very Sad When Anyone Has To Die Like That....But what I cant understand is how the idiotic FDA makes such a big deal about cigarette smoking, when they should be more concerned about alcohol & drug abuse.....
