Jennifer Lopez in Talks for Two Major Movies

Current 'American Idol' judge Jennifer Lopez recently revealed she's on the fence about returning to the judging table, and now we know why. The singer is in talks to star in two upcoming feature films.

According to Deadline, Lopez is up for the female lead opposite Jason Statham in 'Parker,' an adaptation of the Donald Westlake mystery series. Statham would play the title role, a character Mel Gibson and Lee Marvin both in 'Payback' and 'Point Blank,' respectively. Lopez would play Leslie, a love interest for Parker, who gets involved in a heist.

The studio hopes to create an action franchise, starting with 'Parker,' so if Lopez lands the part, there's a possibility she could appear in a sequel as well.

The second role Lopez has on her plate right now is in the film adaption of 'What to Expect When You're Expecting.' Yep, they're making the pregnancy how-to guide into a movie. Lopez would star alongside Cameron Diaz and Matthew Morrison in a supporting role.

So while Lopez circles a return to the big screen (we're not counting 2010's 'The Back-Up Plan') and her 'Idol' judging chair, at least we have her summer anthem 'On the Floor' to get our J.Lo fix until she makes a decision.

This is a fake, no talent, can't sing without back up singers,can't act at all. Then have her take the hair extentions off her head, gerdals to make her thinner, heels to make her taller,false eye lashes. You'll have a short, BIG butt, big tighs, not attractive woman.She's not natually pretty(most beautiful should be natual beauty).
She needs to go away and retire, so real beautiful women, great talented acting women, women with beautiful singing voices can be recongnized and rewarded for there talents, not waisted on this fake person.It's not fair to the great talented women out there.And please don't call her Latina, she Portorican, Latinas are Real at everything!!!!!!

Hey Bill I agree with you that she has no talent and I do not believe she is the world's most beautiful woman but we don't need JLo or Selena Gomez. So we "Spics" and "Mexicans" have a lot better people out there that we can idolize who are really talented. Ok why hasnt anyone notice that she CANT act and she CANT sing....she became popular because of the Selena movie but she wasnt even good in that except the resemblance to Selena....I think she needs to stick to AI as a judge. I will never go to one of her movies cause she cant act and I will never buy any of her music cause it sucks. Her face (with a lot of makeup on) is truly beautiful. (We won't talk about how she looks without it). She sings ok, but is nothing special. She has absolutely no acting talent what-so-ever. Please, no more (abssolutely) awful Lopez movies.
