Pint-Size Fan Rushes Stage, Startles Miley Cyrus (Video)

There must be something in the super fan water. First Justin Bieber was tackled at the New York Macy's launch of his new perfume (although it was later discovered that Bieber's 'attacker' was actually an undercover cop) and now Miley Cyrus is getting stampeded on stage by a mini fan with a full dose of gumption.

As Cyrus was performing her ballad, 'The Climb,' on Friday, a young fan jumped on stage behind her and ran down the runway before throwing her arm around the pop sensation. On point, Cyrus' security guard quickly tried to throw the fan back into the crowd while her super fan fingers were still latched onto the singer.

Once the pint-sized Miley worshiper was back in the crowd, the security guard then focused his attention to the singer who he rushed off stage after a shocked Cyrus repeated into her microphone, "Oh my god," twice.

Maybe I'm just jaded, but that almost seemed a lil staged... did anyone else notice how she brought her mic up to say, "oh my god" lowered it, stood there, and then brought her mic up again to repeat the phrase?! If that were me, and I was as startled as they claim she was, I'm not thinking about bringing my mic up to announce my shock to the entire crowd. I'm just sayin...

Ya know...the 'kid' wasn't doing anything but standing with her arm on Mileys shoulder. The guard WRENCHED the 'kid' so hard, it threw Miley forward, and made the entire incident a lot worse that it was to begin with !!! WTH was that all about ??

Not sure why this made it into a post. People run on stage all the time. They actually been doing it for a long time now. The guard over reacted, by rushing her off stage, that made her look like an idiot. She should have just continued doing what ever she was doing.

Cameron Diaz became a huge star with no more talent than any of the other 500,000 actresses in Hollywood. Justin Timberlake was picked out of a crowd and groomed for stardom. They should both be thankful and humble, and maybe a little less sickeningly arrogant. I thought this was going to be a story about them punching each other, but no such luck.

The head line is miss leading. From the video it looks more like the security is more Startles then she is. It looks like she is taken back more from her security grabbing the fan and yanking her off then she was about the fan being there. The fact that the security rushed her off stage after the fan was removed shows an overzealous response to the situation after the fact.
