Report: Owen Wilson Splits From Baby Mama

With a hot ticket in the box office in 'Midnight in Paris,' it looks like Owen Wilson is saving his happy ending for the big screen. According to the UK's Daily Mail, Wilson has split from the mother of his child, Jade Duell.

Wilson and Duell welcomed their first child, son, Robert, five months ago but it turns out that a baby wasn't enough to keep the family together.

"Owen wanted the freedom to do what he wanted with his friends, both male and female, while remaining a family unit with Jade and the baby," a source close to the couple told the National Enquirer. "But Jade wasn't willing to go along with that, so Owen decided to end things with her instead of cheating behind her back."

It sounds like Wilson's 'Midnight in Paris' character may be rubbing off on him in real life, but he should know better than to think he could have it both ways. According to reports, Wilson remains in Santa Monica, California while his girlfriend and baby mama, Duell, moved back to New York with the couple's baby to be with her family. Wilson also flew solo at the majority of his 'Midnight in Paris' premieres and press events, making it seem as though Duell was either busy at home with baby Robert or the pair had been separated for quite some time.

The couple first met last year -- Duell was an air marshal sitting next to Wilson on a flight. Although their meet cute sounds like a Woody Allen movie in the making, it looks like the pair won't be getting a typical romcom ending.

As i was reading the story, I honestly thought you were reporting about the Kartrashian one with the kid, and her tool boyfriend. All you have to do is change the 3 names.

Forget those Kards, hun-Owen just got outed! Read the story again. Notice " male & female " and " both ways " and preferring to spend time with those friends than to be with his gal and kid?! Oh well, he's still kind of cute in a Robert Redford after a train wreck kind of way! At least he didn't mislead the poor Momma for decades like some guys do! ( Peter - Marc Jacobson anyone??! )

As we have watched him date over his movie career its always poor OWEN, oh blah blah, he is so depressed, he is spending time with his guy friends to cheer him up, like Woody Harrelson etc. Swimming, half naked, basketball, all sweaty, and then another one breakes his poor heart and he is heart broken again, and suicidal, now Rinse and repeat. Oh add in the part where he is taking a filming and life hiatus at his home in Hawaii or some such thing.
Seriously Owne, I could use a serious hiatus being disabled, at my age, raising 5 daughters, on disablity and husband just retired from the military. I will date you, break your heart for about 100k to take a serious hiatus from like and its worries ;/ That would just be paying off bills, stocking up on groceries for 5 years, buying me a wheel chair ramp, a lady to pay to help me a few days a week. Funny how that would be my hiatus and yours is taking a 6 month disappearing act to some diserted place for rest and relaxation. :( UnLess this woman who had your child was using you for money, you get with your child, you love that child, and if you and the mom care for each other make IT WORK. NO hiatus can take away love. Nowhere, no how. I love my husband more each day because its another day we made it through together, remember that.

Seems like Owen should have pondered the consequences of leaving his gf and new baby so he could be with his "friends" and not cheat on her. What a guy! He's a loser, and perhaps the mother of his child figured that out for herself.

Most of these type cheat on the gf before, during and after the pregnancy. One of them was riding the gravy train and it stopped at the station. Good riddance to the tool man.
