da... yea... women do that all the time

I have no doubt that she got mouthy and copped an attitude on him, but that still doesn't mean she deserved to get hit.

BUT, if she is stupid enough to go back to him, whatever happens to her is her own fault. She knows what he is (we all do) and he will do it again.
Lets face it, Rihanna is a fool and she and this fool Chris Brown deserve each other and neither deserves to have a career anymore. They are two mixed up spoiled brats.
Why is it that we don't want to admit what many of us already know? That women routinely provoke and even physically attack men, and then call the police when they respond. Sure, some women are purely victims in domestic situations. But more women than anyone would care to admit hide behind the "a man should never hit a woman" BS in order to get away with being physically abusive. Its a known fact, and women should stop it!

Agreed. I do feel chris brown went over and above reasonable self defense and he deserved what he got as far as his legal issues and bad PR. I don't doubt Rihanna was instigating and being physically and verbally abusive. Both of them need to grow up and be accountable and Mr.Brown needs to work some more on controlling his temper for his own good. A second time will finish him.
My bestfriend's wife hits on him all the time. All he does is stands there or he walks away. The last time she got angry with him, she flew into him like a rabid dog and bit his arm leaving a scar.
He only walks away each time. She knows he will not hit her back. I am afraid she is going to hurt him worse because of this.
What is he supposed to do? You know men will not admit to being hit by women. And if he does report it, who will they believe? A 6'2" man or a 5'6" woman?
Mrs. Ann, has your friend ever considered divorce, are there children involved, and if so, does she hit them, cause if there are kids and she hits them, he could report her for that, and authorities would be more likely to believe that she also hits him. I feel bad for your friend, and Rhiana {sorry if I mispelled that} and any man, woman or child that is abused.
I agree with you!...This is why I lost respect for Rihanna because she knew darn well that she was also at fault and let
Chris take all the blame and his career was down for a bit there. She should have admitted that she had a lot to do with what happened. I do not agree with what Chris did but she let him take the fall...
FACT TRUTH NO MAN BEATS A WOMAN NO MATTER WHAT SHE DOES ,so I guess I am saying chris brown is no man.Don't care what she did or did not do. she did not deserve to get beat .All you young punks who disagree are just as stupid as he was.

Grow up. Humans respond with human emotions, whether it be to walk or away or defend themselves when they feel threatened. It's called fight or flight, look it up. If a man is being verbally or physically attacked by a woman, he will respond in one of those two previously mentioned ways. That doesnt make him less of a man, it makes him human. Humans make mistakes. No one, whether they be male or female, should put his or her hands on another human. He was wrong and so was she. I'm going to need you to stop viewly men and women stereotypically and start viewing us all as humans. Thanks for your time.
Oh, I guess he is just a product of society so we blame the victim. Following that logic, a woman deserves to be raped because of the way she dresses? It's always someone
else fault.

Why are these two idiots still relevant at this point? (rhetorical question)

Rihanna does not know, that no matter what, no woman deserves to be hit. It does not matter what she did, or said, real men never hit, ever. If anything, she may have made him break up with her, thats the only thing a man has the right to do to any woman, leave her alone, and dont look back, if she makes him want to hit her.
I used to feel sorry for her, until I read this, the girl is not too bright.

Oh please. Get off your moral superiority soapbox and own up to the fact that there are no "real men," just an image of what YOU think a real man should be. Stupid liberal.
@Chris: the irony being that it's not liberals who have an exacting standard that men must follow.
great.....now she's pissin' me off

And this is why he NEEDS TO stay FAR, FAR, AWAY from her!!!!!

I dont think what chris did was right but he is a man and he took his punishment no one wants to be hated by millions of people and known as "the beater" i honestly think she did kinda provoked him to do it and everyone just went with what Rihanna said and not chris rihanna isnt just the victim she had her parts too and she's just tryin to play the victim again

Man, he keeps throwing tantrums and acting like a child when he doesn't get his way. You think this is a person who has earned redemption?
