We all could have guessed that Eminem has split personalities, but lately, the rap superstar truly has been doing double duty, splitting his time between his solo career (he just headlined Bonnaroo) and his latest project, Bad Meets Evil. Now, in the new video for 'Space Bound,' the latest single from Em's 2010 blockbuster album, 'Recovery,' we see two versions of the Detroit rapper playing out alternate scenarios with a graphic, shocking turning point. Be warned, his journey involves a suicidal choice -- one he may be only imagining.
In the dark, dramatic clip, directed by Joseph Kahn, two versions of Eminem enter a diner. One sits at a booth with his girlfriend (played by porn star Sasha Grey), and learns from glancing at her phone that his "supernova" lover is cheating. Meanwhile, the other Eminem sits at the deli counter, alone. Without question, both are suffering a painful heartbreak.
So, will the real Slim Shady please stand up? Check out the new video after the jump.

Disturbing video! Why should music reflect this...it is pathetic enough that many young people have no mind of their own so they "follow" entertainers like this. I get that he and artists like hime are expressing themselves...but what happened to just music...love songs, happy songs, dancing songs and the dog died and my wife left me for george strait songs???? This is just sad.

I love Eminem as does my 13 year old son, and 12 year old daughter. I am concerned about this new video. There are a lot of young teens "in love" that watch his videos and I don't want them to get the idea of blowing their brains out over a heartbreak. I know it may sound crazy, but when kids are left alone with their emotions, you never know. That's my opinion for what it's worth. Love the song, not so much the video.

first of all Em did not do this to promote his album he did this to show the pain you can go through and if u actually effing pay attention he goes back as if he was thinking to kill himself he goes back and doesnt do it he obviously in a dream because it rewinds and if u got some self sense you wouldnt take this as telling kids to kill themselves you all are just retarded and need to calm down he just tries to speak to the world and this is how he's doing it so calm down guys he's not telling people to kill themselves he's tryiung to tell people all the pain of relationships and not to get too involved until you are sure it is serious
Love Ya Em,
Keep Rappin Brah!

This is exactly the kind of crap teenagers need to see...eminem I wish you would check out of this world so that teens wouldnt be exposed to this crap anymore

Okay So Eminem dying wouldnt make any diffrence with the exposure that kids will go through! He is one man amongst many! One exposure amongst billions! He is an artist and I garentee you that children will go through a billion times more harsh realities truths heartbreaks loses and drama then theyll get out of any music video movie video game or book! Its not his responsibility to be the one directly in every childs life teaching them as if he was their own parent! thats the parents responsibilty! And he didnt kill himself in this video nor did he kill the cheating women! He was showing flashes of what all crosses through somebodies mind when their going through a heartbreak!? I Could kill them I Wish I could just end my life so I dont have to feel this way ever again (Your such a saint though I BET you NEVER Had such thoughts right?)! But he really didnt do it! If ANYTHING This video shows teenagers and children that their NOT ALONE In their random crazy Harsh reality inflicted mind! That even Eminem has had the same thoughts but he came out of it and bettered himself as a man and didnt inflict his thoughts of pain onto himself or the person who wronged him! and that If he can get through it with those thoughts then everybody else including his daughter can get through the crazy thought effected by heartbreak!
Excellent song! Our relationship lives are extremely similar. Your pain is so strong. I can't believe she is still hurting you like this! Any woman who truly loves you, would love to be with you, would grow to love you. You're just used to your wife since a teen and it always hurts. It shows in your music...isn't she done hurting you and when are you going to move on? If anyone can understand your pain, it's me...look me up if you're ever in New Jersey! Emma

If you could understand what he has been through in his life, it would make sense to you. It makes total sense to me. And DOESN'T make me want to blow my brains away.

Also, teens these days are influenced by much more damaging things in this world besides a song. Quit bashing Em
I think the Eminem video is sick and should not have been shown nor should it be shown.
As far as Christina Aguilera's crimped hair -- who cares!
How about printing something sensible.

This young man STILL has some anger issues. He is talented but I wish he would put his talent to some positive use instead of so much anger, disgusting language and always so depressing to listen to. I hope his daughter has someone positive around her.

It's a video, folks. Grow up.
And if some kid kills him/herself after watching this, blame the parents FIRST.
I've seen many videos with a lot of violence - never killed someone, never tried to kill myself.
Did the video go TOO far? Maybe - go protect your children from watching it. Or tell them to be responsible. Whichever suits you.
Being a celebrity doesn't imply one has to be 'responsible'. At least he's better than Lindsay and Britney and Amy Winehouse lol.
Need I say more?
