Alicia Keys took on the role of maestro at the 2011 BET Awards, standing on top of a piano during her performance, leading an orchestra to play the backing sounds to a new song she debuted.Though the track's title wasn't revealed, the lyrics were. Keys sang through her new song with a lyric video playing behind her. "No sunshine when you're gone, peaceful sleep I have none/ How can I make it better, I'm under so much pressure," the 'Songs in A Minor' creator belted out.
Showing off a braided side ponytail, the chanteuse hopped off the piano and sat in front of the keys, moving into her famed tune, 'A Woman's Worth.' Surprisingly, Bruno Mars entered stage right, carrying a mint green guitar, and helped her croon through the song as a duet.

Must be a Steinway piano or it has steel reinforcements cause that's a great big heavy bottom on that woman. Enter into the realm of Thunder Thighs. Freddy Mercury summed it up when he said "Fat bottom girls make the rockin world go 'round. Get on your bikes and ride!!!" A mountain bike that is with heavy duty springs and titanium cross members.

@Schrade
Hey Schrade. You probably got bullied by women because you sure do type a lot of smack from behind that screen and key board.
@Al Schrader, we black women are actually very proud of our titties, butts, and thighs. Maybe you should go get a subscription to Vogue magazine. They have all the skin and bones you could ever want.

Well Gary there is CMT... Caucasian Music Television....i mean Country Music Television...::rolls eyes::
@ Gary
Gary, There was White Entertainment Television! Remember back in the fifties, sixties, seventies, eighties, nineties and now, when you never seen Black folk on tv?
Well, that is WET (White Entertainment Television).
If we included more people of color on tv back then and now, there would not be a need for Black Entertainment Television.
Now, use your brain before you type!
Wow I have never seen her not look amazing but that picture on top is horrible. That doesn't even look like her. Love ya AK but don't do that again..

Are you kidding? Alicia DOES always look amazing including that picture on top. The performance was magnificent! Never heard Alicia sound or look better. So glad she doesn't try to be that skinny woman image that some people might expect her to be. Love that she is always just being herself. She always looks great!
I agree she usually looks amazing and hot and I am glad she isnt a skinny anorexic looking woman she has curves and is sexy with her attitude. i think its the bad hair style and the make up in the Ford picture up top that im not feeling.
Maybe so, but the double standard for blacks far outweighs any other race. There is a television show titled, "For Black Men Only," there is a beauty contest titled, "Miss Black America,"...I could go on and on...any questions?

Miss black america was conceived because of the fact that black women were underrepresented in "miss america". I have never heard of "for black men only" but fact is, whites are the overwhelming majority in television. Because of the fact that they are 70% of the american population. So it only seems logical to create stations that appeal to a specific ethnic groups that are not equally represented.
Very Mindless. Liz.

@Diedra...Take that back about Bruno Mars don't get me wrong his voice is magical but nobody is in the same field as Luther Vandross. Half the kids born in the 80's were because of Luther.

Best performance of the night. Didn't really care for Rick Ross's part but Alicia Keys was great! Bruno Mars totally killed it. It was so amazing to see 2 big talents on stage at the same time. Bruno Mars had always wanted to do a duet with Alicia Keys and he got his wish last night. Awesome job Bruno! We fans are very proud of you.
