Who's Out at 'Housewives'? Alex McCord Responds to New Report

Holy catfight! The 'Real Housewives of New York' reunion special was taped last Wednesday at Capital in NYC and it was full of tears, laughter and betrayal but nothing was as interesting as one Real Housewife talking about the show in the past tense. "Cindy [Barshop] barely spoke at the taping," a cast member tells me, "And when she did talk about her time on the show it was in the past tense. She is definitely not coming back."
Also buzzing around today is a new report by
HollywoodLife that in addition to Cindy, original housewife Alex McCord will
also not be around for a fifth season, but in an
exclusive statement to
PopEater, Alex rebuffs such claims.
"If I had a dollar every time an 'inside source,' i.e. a cast member, leaked a 'story' that I was out of RHONY, I'd be a multi-millionairess!" Alex wrote to me.
A spokesperson for Bravo released a statement, telling me "No decisions have been made regarding next season and everything at this point is rumor."
The tradition of the 'Real Housewives' coming together at the end of each season to tape a reunion show has delivered HUGE ratings for Bravo. So much so that these tapings are often edited into at least two hours of TV and have recently even provided footage for a third.
"They started taping at 9:00 a.m. and didn't finish until well past 7," an insider tells me. "The first few hours where everyone is on message is always thrown away and replaced by the more juicy stuff that occurs later in the day when everyone's getting tired and letting down their guard. This year Ramona and Jill go at it."
After the taping, Ramona tweeted that it had been a wild day and that she "survived the reunion." The next day Alex McCord agreed, tweeting, "Intense day of filming yesterday for Real Housewives of New York." However, Jill Zarin, surprisingly seemed to have a great time, sharing, "OMG what a day," late Wednesday night.
Two Housewives that were noticeably silent were Sonja Morgan, who is battling an ugly bankruptcy case, and the newest housewife member Cindy Barshop.
"Sonja's struggles with her divorce and financial situation are just too delicious for Bravo to not invite her back," one insider tells me. "But it looks like Cindy already knows her Real Housewife days are over."

If the "ex countess" attempts to sing on any future show, send her packing.

I agree. LuAnn only has that title by marriage and since she is divorced I think she should drop it. She is such a snob and acts like she is so above everyone. I feel sorry for her boyfriend but he looks like a little pip squeek next to her. I can't stant Kelly when she talks. She is wacko and her mouth is funny. I happen to like Alex this year. I'm glad she doesn't let everyone run over her anymore. While sometimes her timing is a little off, she still has more sense than the rest. Ramona is something else. I like her too but her constant remarks about her wine are starting to make me crazy.
LOL! I agree! and for someone who wrote a "manners and etiquet" book, she is the rudest of the bunch. she verbally bowls over anyone who is trying to speak to her with that hauty condecending "DAWLING!" makes me ill! and I have NEVER seen anyone interrupt people the way she does. Rude, ill mannered stuck up snob.
could not agree more- cindy was a wet dish rag...added nothing to the show. what about the other one? can't even remember her name-the model? again adds nothing to the show...mob wives kills housewives!

Cindy was a nothing and why she was chosen is very odd.
Alex should remain we love to hate Simon and doesn't he look drunk all the time and with all the money Alex spends on clothes she should be spending o have simon's bags under his eyes fixed.
Sonja spent the past seasons bragging about her times in the finest hotels and her travels all over the worl and the yachts and now hse is going hrough bankruptcy...GOOD.
The countess has the biggest hands in the world and Jill...isJewish.
Ramona needs help and Mario seems to have his moind elsewhere or one someone else.
Avery needs a nose job.
Obviously someone told Alex and her weirdo husband to be "the bad guys" this year, if they wanted to get more air time. They are getting more air time, but both look ridiculous. Last night I almost got sick when he gave her the "sexy" outfits and she modeled them for him. He obviously is not into women, but puts on this act for the show. And her with all the fighting and stupid confused faces she makes. I am used to all the fighting with everyone else. She acts like this little kid that has to get attention to get in the fight. Away with her already.

Hope Cindy is gone next season. She is just hateful. She seems to be always in a bad mood. The most interesting thing about her were her fake-looking teeth. Felt sorry for her babies also. They appear to be raised by nannies. Wish Alex would return to the nice person she was before she starting telling everyone off. Could do with less of her creepy husband for sure. I agree about the lingerie he provided for her to try on. Had to look away. He just cannot be a straight man.
Wait a sec Shelia, I always thought all these females acts like little kids. I've seen the show ONCE and have no desire to go back because of one simple reason and that is I've NEVER seen adult ladies act like these do on this show. Maybe it's just me, maybe I haven't been around enough but if that's the case, I have NO desire to "get around" then. All the adult ladies I know, all of their husbands as well, sure don't behave like these on this show. I seriously thought these females were told to act this way by the producer or someone, sure didn't beleive for one-second this is the way they carry on in real life.
get rid of that skank, trailer-trash countess HOEEEEEEEE who now lays french, than you'd have viewership. She is the skankiest of all.

I like Louann, the countess, she can't sing but at least she acts somewhat dignified unlike that bug eyes crazy woman, Ramona! Help! Get her away from me.
Because the Countess is no longer a "Countess", is she now a Countless? I'm going to change the channel if she insist on catterwailing!.....Feeling they've ran their course, I'm over all of them.
if you get rid of that wanne be countess my sh..t doesn't stink, maybe I'll watch again. Thank you.

I am so glad everyone else agrees with me about the Countless Countess......OMG.......I am so sick of her phony crap and her poor daughter Thanking her a dozen times for giving her a party. Isn't that what all parents do and don't kids today usually get cars. And why would she want a party in the city when she lives in the Hamptons, duh.....maybe because then the drag queen Luann, bethany got that right years ago, could show off. Notice how many times she said she wasn't spending too much because her daughter didn't want her too. Oh Please....Get rid of this boring, over rated, ridiculous 7 foot zombie.........

LuAnn didn't give her daughter a car for her sweet 16 because in New York you have to be 17 to get a drivers license.
Judy.. You make me laugh.
Ku Ann seems like a drag queen.
The biggest hands and her head is much bigger then the frenman's.
It looks odd when they kiss and he could consider a nose job.
Kelly seems normalthis season and it makes me wonder if all the before stuff with her was scripted.
I was wanting to see that Jill was leaving. I like her and I wish she would drop all these skanks. Jill, you are better then this show. Get back to the life you had before this. You have so much good to do. Leave the wine(ing) ladies to fight among themselves. They deserve each other.
