Who's Out at 'Housewives'? Alex McCord Responds to New Report
Holy catfight! The 'Real Housewives of New York' reunion special was taped last Wednesday at Capital in NYC and it was full of tears, laughter and betrayal but nothing was as interesting as one Real Housewife talking about the show in the past tense. "Cindy [Barshop] barely spoke at the taping," a cast member tells me, "And when she did talk about her time on the show it was in the past tense. She is definitely not coming back."
Also buzzing around today is a new report by
HollywoodLife that in addition to Cindy, original housewife Alex McCord will
also not be around for a fifth season, but in an
exclusive statement to
PopEater, Alex rebuffs such claims.
"If I had a dollar every time an 'inside source,' i.e. a cast member, leaked a 'story' that I was out of RHONY, I'd be a multi-millionairess!" Alex wrote to me.
A spokesperson for Bravo released a statement, telling me "No decisions have been made regarding next season and everything at this point is rumor."
The tradition of the 'Real Housewives' coming together at the end of each season to tape a reunion show has delivered HUGE ratings for Bravo. So much so that these tapings are often edited into at least two hours of TV and have recently even provided footage for a third.
"They started taping at 9:00 a.m. and didn't finish until well past 7," an insider tells me. "The first few hours where everyone is on message is always thrown away and replaced by the more juicy stuff that occurs later in the day when everyone's getting tired and letting down their guard. This year Ramona and Jill go at it."
After the taping, Ramona tweeted that it had been a wild day and that she "survived the reunion." The next day Alex McCord agreed, tweeting, "Intense day of filming yesterday for Real Housewives of New York." However, Jill Zarin, surprisingly seemed to have a great time, sharing, "OMG what a day," late Wednesday night.
Two Housewives that were noticeably silent were Sonja Morgan, who is battling an ugly bankruptcy case, and the newest housewife member Cindy Barshop.
"Sonja's struggles with her divorce and financial situation are just too delicious for Bravo to not invite her back," one insider tells me. "But it looks like Cindy already knows her Real Housewife days are over."

I just wish they would get rid of all the shows of House Wifes. They are not house wife , they are house cats. Running around peeing on other people's lifes . There is not a real house Wife in the whole bag of ally cats. They have made thier states and cities nothing but trash. Also not leaving their "prodouchers" out. Yes you read that right. Shame on the whole bag of them. Its time to move on and let the dog catcher have them. See ya won't want to be ya!

Alex keeps the show real. I can't stand the countess and her little follower Kelly. If Alex leaves I will be so disappointed. I love Alex and Simon together. He seems so into her. Wish I could find a guy like that.

Sonja Morgan, is much too old to have her skirts up around her neck. This old woman tries to pretend that she is young and has a beautiful shape. She is over the hill and it is no wonder her old man husband divorced her!Sonja, makes women look bad, she is 19 Million Dollars in debt and she has no idea about her money! Feel sorry for her daughter!! Time to grow-up Sonja!!

Luann PAYS a "music producer" to tell her she can sing. She humiliates herself with every off key note while he laughs all the way to the bank. I cannot tolerate Luann and her arrogance anymore.She is bossy and ridiculous in her attempts to appear better than everyone. If she isnt gone by next season, I will be gone as a viewer. I have watched from the very beginning and can no longer do so. They are all teribly flawed characters and constantly humiliate themselves. The only ones I ever liked were Bethany and Alex.

LuAnn and all the NY social scene people are so hateful. If my friends behaved the way those morons do, I wouldn't have many friends! Has anyone considered the camel LuAnn was riding? I think it knew right away she was a nothing soul. I loved that part! I hope Mario will help crazy eyed Ramona with her wino ways. Nasty old drunk! The clothes are almost as bad as on the OC Houswives. Up to there is no imagination left. The look is hilarious in those short skirts and tall boots. Do any of you think maybe poor Alex looks in a mirror when she makes a new face? Too funny! Oh, I forgot, she has good genes!! Cough, cough! Jill is so sad to me. She and dear old LuLu, want fame, pure and simple. Jill has her back biting mouth towards everyone. Mario can take this pitiful Ramona, still so jealous of Betheny. I'll bet he wants to gag! Sonja, please wise up! The smell of money isn't what you think! Kelly dear, see a doctor, soon!

I'm sorry the Sonja is having a rough time, but if anyone should leave the show it should be her. She is one of the most untrustworthy people I have seen in a long time. I think she deliberately sets people up for fights and then acts like she doesn't know what anyone's talking about when it happens!!

Get rid of LuAnne! I can't watch anymore when she's on, I mute it. I get so fussed up because obviously no one is allowed to have a fit when she acts like a holier than thou moron. Normal people would call her on it every single time. She is just nasty and phony. That man has no interst in her other than being on TV. And he would need someone to get him on, with that face.
Jill is just what another person said. Ugly inside and out. No injections are going to change that dog faced woman. Her announcing over and over she has 150,000 "fans" is ridiculous. What a joke. No one who really has that many doesn't have to say so. She has always been a fake and a liar. Just the Amazon situation should have had ner banned from the show.
Kelly is so insane. I think Bravo should be ashamed they exploit an obviously insane woman for ratings. She needs different meds and to be dropped from the show before her kids are raked through the coals from their friends seeing their mother freak out weekly. Anyone would think her unbalanced.

Why does everyone want to get rid of this entertainment? Granted some are pretty weird, but it makes for good tv. I watch all the Real Housewives. Who would want to trade this for all the reruns? I think they should have one where the Real Housewives meet thr Mob Wives. LuAnn is phony and needs to find a real singer she can lip sync too. Jill has a stick up her butt and I think she is jealous of Bethenny's success. Kelly is either from another planet or dipping into the Xanax too much. What mother can't fix breakfast for her kids? Ditto to Ramona and add her favorite wine. I like Alex, but still scratching my head on her relationship with Simon. Is he bi or is Alex really a man in drag. Where did they find Cindy? She is not good TV. If they all were like her I would opt for the reruns. When they would do her Cameo shot, she reminded me of a puppet sitting on someones lap making her mouth with the enormous teeth move saying "what's wrong with these women" It would take to long critique all the other RHW, but I do have to say Tamra is a real skank. Why did her face look so puffy at the reunion? The toy boy may not stick around if you turn into the doughboy. What a dirty mouth! Still, call me a groupy or whatever, I would miss them all if they left.....Cindy not so much.

Really you think money could help Luann sing... Only a throat transplant could help that voice. She's got guts going on TV in that get up and holding of all things a microphone. Someone should get her a mirror, maybe looking in that would wake her up.She's the worst housewife and mother yet, well Vicki from Orange County is running neck and neck with her but the Countless has got to go.........

Luan act like she is God's gift to the world with her HORRIBLE HORRIBLE VOICE! And it seems like her kids are always put on the back burner of her social life. That's one woman who should thank all the nanny's and housekeeper for raising her kids. I think i understand why her ex-husband got out of dodge. How did that man stomach her for all these years.
