Beyonce: 'I Always Said I'd Have a Baby by 30. I'm 29'

Let Beyonce's baby countdown begin. The Sasha Fierce singer told Piers Morgan that she's got less that one year to make her baby dreams come true -- if she keeps on track with her life plan that is.

"I always said I'd have a baby at 30," she told Morgan. "I'm 29. But I also said I was going to retire at 30. I'm not retiring."

So what does that mean when it comes to making hubby, Jay Z, a daddy? "Only God knows," she said.

But with Beyonce's benchmark baby year fast approaching, she is seriously considering giving motherhood a go in the near future.

"I feel like 30 is the ideal age, because you're mature enough to know who you are and have your boundaries and your standards and not be afraid or too polite, but young enough to be a young woman," she explained. "I'm so looking forward to it."

So does that mean that Beyonce is going to hop on the baby mama bandwagon? Because it seems like now, more than ever, would be the perfect time to start on the baby making trail. The 'Run the World (Girls)' singer's fourth album '4' drops today and although queen B will be making her rounds to promote the record, we have no doubt she could sneak in a little R & R if she does decide to make her baby by thirty cut off date.

So what Beyonce plans to have a baby at 30, good for her and hubby. And about her skin color. When will the people of this United States get off color. White women color their skin to get darker all the time and have been doing so for years. You never hear anyone talk negative about that. Why some black women choose to bleach their skin is beyond me. I love my dark skin. And by the way, we are people of color, "Not Colored People"

What is wrong with being dark skinned? Sergio. You're a sad person with nothing to look forward to. At least Beyonce and Jay are making strides in their life and they do help others which is what God calls for us all to do.

For all those that whine about whether Beyonce was dark, is light etc, ever hear of TANs? You know, the skin colorization that people recieve when they go in the sun, or the tanning beds or even (gasp) sprays or lotions. Its possible that she doesn't use/tan as much now and therefore has lightened up?
