Bristol Palin: Michele Bachmann 'Dresses a Lot Like My Mom'
EXCLUSIVE: Bristol Palin, daughter of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, says her mom has already made up her mind about whether to run for the White House in 2012 -- but will leave the big announcement up to her. That said, Bristol is more than happy to reveal what she thinks about someone who
has announced they are running, Michele Bachmann, who Bristol believes has stolen her mom's look!
"I think she dresses a lot like my mom," Bristol tells me. "But a lot, a lot of women have done that the last few years. I do think it's odd, you know, seeing people with red blazers with their hair up with glasses."
Bristol added a giggle before continuing her thought about Bachmann, a Congresswoman from Minnessota. "I don't know if she's wearing glasses but you want to be hummmm, do you think that people don't notice you're dressing like my mom?"
The 'Dancing With the Stars' alum, who is promoting her new book 'Not Afraid of Life: My Journey So Far,' says that she's been through a lot for a 20-year-old Alaska girl and has stories that she hopes other young ladies will be able to relate to.
"The night with Levi is one of my biggest mistakes. I knew that if I wanted this book to have an impact on people that I was going to have to be completely candid and completely honest," Bristol tells me. "I put it all on the table just knowing in the back of my head that others can relate to these stories and hopefully learn from it."
Bristol wants to make it very clear that she is not an abstinence preacher, but rather someone who is really passionate about teenage pregnancy prevention.
"It's not ideal for anyone to be a teen mom and hopefully girls can learn from that story," Bristol tells me. "I hate the word abstinence. It reminds me of Sex Ed class. Ehhh. Its not all about abstinence. I wasn't going to have sex before I got married. For others, if that's not an option for them, you know, hopefully they will practice safe sex ... really safe sex. Just because you're on birth control doesn't mean you're not going to get pregnant."
Bristol tells me she has got a lot in common with her famous mom that she is so proud of.
"I think we are both driven, really motivated, to do what's right," Bristol tells me. "We are really religious and we know what's right from wrong. We both have a drive about us where we want to get things done for ourselves."

How can you say that night with Levi was the biggest mistake of your life? You wouldn't have that beautiful child now, is that what you would choose? I haven't been with my son's father for over ten years and it was an awful situation, but i would never take it back, i have a wonderful fourteen-year-old son now! PS-Just because your mom didn't win doesn't mean you should bash on anyone trying to run, either. I'm sure lots of women dress just like that, it's not like a signature style or anything!

What she means that she got drunk and high and lost her viginity. She wanted to wait until marriage, before she had sex and beautiful babies. It is my believe that Levi should be in jail for rape!

You misunderstood what she was saying, your to quick to "put her down" Give her the credit she deserves, which is for not getting an abortion, not marrying the dirtbag, etc. GOOD FOR HER that she has made monies, etc., where most young girls that was in her position LIVED OFF WELFARE ETC. As a single mother, Bristol should have put that "beautiful child" up for adoption. A stable, two-parent home is what this baby needs.
Rebecca - she did not get pregnant that night. She made such a terrible mistake by getting drunk and having sex with Levi that she made up for it by continuing to have unprotected sex (no condoms) until she actually did get pregnant. Doesn't sound like she was all so innocent as she claims to be now does it?
She was referring to her first time. She wanted to wait until she was married. They continued their intimate relationship and wound up pregnant.

I have kids who are now professionals and successful. I was 17 when I got pregnant and I tried to abort my babies when I get pregnant because I was afraid I could'nt raise them. At that time I had to it, that did not mean I am not grateful for them. You know what I told my girls who I worked so hard to raise, don't be like me. So Bristol was right about that night although she love her kid.
I really can't imagine why anyone would care what Bristol Palin says or does.

I agree. Besides, if she wants to set a good example to other women. Why did she get so much plastic surgery done lately. How can she tell others to love themselves, if she doesn't practice what she preaches.
Having sex with a guy is not just about making babies. It is about being in love with the man you are having sex with, knowing that it is real and that the act is special. As for the beautiful child...she would have had it later on, with the man she believes in, has respect for and who would be a partner for life, hopefully...then both she and the child would have a loving foundation instead of a circus act. Babies desrve more than just LOVE...they are entitled to a Mom and Dad who hopefully are mature enough to stay together and provide a stable, loving and safe home where a child can look forward to Mom and Dad, not Mom and Grandparents or Mom and Boyfriends or Dad and Girlfriends.

Obviously Bristol thinks her baby is her second worst mistake. I think it is time she ''shut up,'' went back to Alaska innstead of running around chasing that ''allmighty dollar.''
